Baghdad-6-6 (KUNA) -- Iraqi television announced today that the Iraqi parliament meeting will be held next Thursday.

Quoting station (Iraqi) government space for the Deputy Speaker of the House Iraqi Sheikh Khalid Attiyah that the Iraqi parliament will be held next Thursday.

The Iraqi prime minister Nuri Maliki said that the candidates will take office and the Ministries of Interior and Defense to the House of Representatives at the next meeting.

NEXT Thursday in the middle east literally means the next Thursday (this week), not the following week as it does in the US. Good news I'd say!

Bigopie, My husband is an honorary (coonass) He lived in Louisiana for 10 years and flew for Royal Airlines. His first job out of the Air Force. We still have a crawfish boil every year and hope it doesn't rain. We didn't have it this year because of Katrina. But we get the spice and the crawfish from Louisana. It is the best. I don't touch my lips to the corn or potatos.
