I have a quick question. In regards to the 10,000 dinars being handed out, is that to each individual or to each house hold? I read somewhere that there are 27 million people in Iraq.

Most bank jobs don't require a college degree, don't require any knowledge of politics, economics, or world currencies, and certainly do not pay very well. Yes most bank employees were in fast food at some point before they got a job with the bank. It's not that these people are "stupid". It's just that our assumptions or expectations of what people need to know in order to work at a bank is very different than what people actually need to know to work at a bank. Heres a thought, suppose that it was absolutly essential that bank employees know all the in's and out's of the dinar investment in order to become a teller of lower level supervisor. How many employees do you think would then show up to work the day after reval to do all the banks business, including exchanging dinars for dollars?

ITS not the job of bank employees to know the current rate of a certain
currency. A hundred or so customers a day with normal transactions and
maybe one customer out of 10,000 might be interested in dinar. They give a number of the correct dept and thats it. Does a teller know how to make
20 million loan on a housing tract. ? ITS NOT THEIR JOB. A dentist may
have a rudimentary understanding of the human body i don't want him/her
giving me a vasectomy. Somebody mentioning buying dinar to an employee
is just one of MANY MANY money making tips they receive. i can't tell you how many i got
when i was a teller many many years ago.

In concerns to the wait for our delivery, Garrett was asked the next day if it was because it was in 1000 notes and he said yes, but then he asked Garrett if we could get it in any denomination faster or the next day as usual and he still said NO... I just called my friend who makes the call to Garrett and does the orders and he confirmed this as pure fact, we had some friends who ordered some earlier in the week and was no problem of course it was just a million but... Maybe they don't have the 5 million amount or maybe they are now speculating too and want to wait till Monday passes...
