As long as it revals before the end of the year, and you won't have to worry about this. Definitely time to put some more pressure on Iraq!

Agree chooch, the Dems can't do anything until January at the earliest. So we're ok till then.......

I think the reval will be tomorrow all signs point to it....they are out of time...the end of the year is too long and they know it. I think they will reval tomorrow, hand out the 10K as we read about and then all other pieces can fall in....they are sitting too idle and even though December is only next month......In my opinion next week is too late...there is too much pressure from other countries and they have delayed this far too long...it's sink or swim and they have to jump now. Here's to tomorrow

I am sure that Bush is going to try and do what he can to save his own hide. Expect more pressure on Iraq in the coming weeks.

I just have one comment to make regarding the banks not selling because of possible scams. My first instinct/thought about it was that since Stephanie on iif posted about the BofA selling on the 13th, the banks were inundated with calls from all the dinar spectators (we can be an aggravating bunch when we want to know something ). I believe that since they obviously don't know what we know that it just sent up RED FLAGS all through their branches. Did you notice that the ones who told us about running into problems buying, that once a teller/manager saw that it was a person they sold to on numerous occassions, they were given the go ahead to purchase? I believe they are just being cautious because the sudden interest in the past few weeks have they bum-fuzzled. Any thoughts?

This is a very real possibility. Yes, they have been selling for a while... but for the past couple weeks many, many more people were calling and asking questions rather than just going in and buying. You bet it raised their suspicions.

Dems may not be a threat yet but the country itself will implode and be deamed a failure....they have cried wolf too many times and it is put-up or shut-up and this is it....every day that they don't do something that shows a dramatic effect (even though we know things are happening) they are losing credibility. We have to remember that we have researched for information and have great detectives on this forum but the average person, especially the person not invested, doesn't really care about the small stuff....they need to throw something big out and now to carry them through December...it won't be security but a reval can help in all those areas. JMO.

I agree with you 100%

These delays that they keep having are not helping their cause with some of the borderline countries on investment into Iraq.

Right now I see it as just a need to get the revalue onto the international market. They do not have to go very high (mind you I don't think anything under a dollar fourty eight is possible with statements made by officials) they just NEED TO DO IT!!!!!!!

We are on the brink of a new day. I just can't figure out when!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have jobs and can feed our kids....waiting a month for us is an inconvenience.....a month for the average Iraqi starvation and poverty....there is no excuse for it....the reval is ready to go, they can back it up, the world is behind them, and the time is now to do this. There is no enthusiasm in country especially when your hungry and deprived of basic daily needs. I agree that the oil law and investment implementation, and foreign debt forgiveness are important issues and they need to take place, but a reval has to be in place for those milestones to be met.....there is nothing standing in the way of a reval and economic recovery but those in power dragging their feet.....THE REVAL IS READY TO GO, JUST NEEDS RELEASED...I'm sure they would like to release everything in a package but when people are starving you just have to adapt and adjust your plan a little so...reval now and push the rest of the package through next month.
