I hope that we will see our RV tommorow but if it doesn't happen tommorow I am looking as a next date for the ICI enacted.
These countries have the power to make or break Iraq with the debt. We have read some good stuff regarding Saudi. Kuwait is solved as we have read.
Adster is doubting and I think he has a point because these Saudis don't bring out as a done deal and it is the biggest debt. Maybe this Saudis have given their promise and agreed with Iraq behind closed doors that they first have to RV and then bring it out as a done deal.
So first of all let's go for tommorow with all of those banking rumors and stories after that I am for enacting the ICI. I think the HCL will be enacted the same time with this.

As Mike said earlier, his contacts have heard nothing about the 10k, think RR said the same. You'd think if they were going out tomorrow they would know....
Anyway, not long to find out if we're finally at the end of this rollercoaster ride or not!Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Saudi Arabia?
I would not worry about them at all. How many times have they written checks to Iraq in the $1 Billion+ USD amounts in the past, not including their latest $1.5B USD Grant this past week?
Plus, read this: http://www.iraqdirectory.com/DisplayNews.aspx?id=2537
Someone's in a hurry...

Iraqi Investments Club
Interesting,
Are we having fun yet? (g) Isn't this crazy, so many things cooking, yet this 10K deal is still a mystery. Remember when the lop was leaked to press, I have to wonder if this is the same deal with 10K, was it leaked before the fact like the lop?
So many ways to look at the way leaders operate, but in my opinion, they stratgically leak what they want to test the waters, see what the reactions are, positive or negative, then they implement based on popular reaction. Almost as if they have no faith with parliament vote since a third never show up. LOL
I have never seen so many conflicting statements in my life, other than with U.S. statements. I guess the Iraqi's are learning the best and worse of democracy with this crash course we have force fed them. Sure does make for interesting reading.
The word from my Kurd's is heads are going to roll, a thrid of cabinet is gone, so we see this as more relevent than the 10K issue, so until the cabinet is purged, along with a third of parliament, I don't see any news on revalue until this is done. Could be this week as the pressure on Maliki increases. Given the statements of members announcing they were bowing out due to Maliki's innaction, I would suspect their days were numbered to begin with, so they chose to bow out in protest instead. Clean house, then reval is how I see it.
Good luck to all, Mike
