When they exchanged the Saddam dinar for the new dinar was that delayed like this?
I don’t think that security for the hand out is what the problem is even though they said it is. When they did the exchange they also had 3 months to finish it & I know that people were walking around with a lot more than 10,000 dinar with less security. Even though they are expecting large groups at the 2 banks, I’m sure they had large groups when they went to vote & when they exchanged the old dinar but they still got those done on time with the violence. Even though they had more places to vote & switch bills I don’t see what the problem is with trying to secure the area around the 2 banks. This thing just has to be worth more than $6.80 after all this.

I would think that it would cost more then $6.80 for most people to go pick up
their $6.80 at one of the two banks.

They are closed today, but I go back on Monday to pick up my order. We will see if he has found it by then! Heck, by then, I may not even be getting it. Just my old USD back. Glad it was just a small order!

if it was indeed in the official gazette and said today and was postmarked the 12th then the MONEY IS OFFICIALLY BEING DISPENSED BEGINNING ON NOVEMBER 12TH!!!

All I know is that I would have been grinning like a goon and ALL OVER that manager after even hearing him MENTION receiving something about Iraq or the Dinars! LOLOLOL!!! Tiff
