I hope that I'm not stepping on anyones toes.A friend of mine and I were
talking on the telephone about thirty minutes ago and he told me to go to
dinartrade.com and read their latest news. I haven't seen all of the threads
yet but I hope that this may be of some use................
Central Bank will adopt a tight monetary policy

The Iraqi Central Bank will adopt a tight monetary policy in this regard is aimed at reducing the inflation base through improved exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar and raise the purchasing power of the Iraqi dinar and make cash more attractive means to reflect the circumstances and encouraging indicators in the economy which would help in addressing the danger of dollarization, which is one of the factors. He said the Iraqi Central Bank will adopt a tight monetary policy in this regard is aimed at reducing the inflation base through improved exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar and raise the purchasing power of the Iraqi dinar and make cash more attractive means to reflect the circumstances and encouraging indicators in the economy which would help in addressing the danger of the dollarization,

Zubaidi on this subject : Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

    Undersecretary to Minister of Finance:
The rise in the value of the Iraqi currency against the dollar would reduce the value of imports, and raising the value of exports. As exports are negligible, the economy will benefit from the policy of raising the rate of the Iraqi dinar.

The CBI Press article was also published on the Iraqi Government site today even though it is a chopped up translation.

    Translated version of http://www.iraqigovernment.org/

Adster and Susies , along with others hold great credability here. Adster posted a monumental find here this morning. Steph is well...Steph.

The point I'm making is that what Adster has posted is undisputable. I believe our day has come and we are rich people. I will wait and see further confirmation in the next day or two.

    By the way...Hi Franny

That's exactly the problem though...it never was FACT. A long while back either on Rolclub or another forum..someone tried to buy dinar at a bank of america and were probably generically told that they could only get currency that was internationally traded...then time and many posts and more time later...all of a sudden it's gospel that boa won't deal in dinar until it's 'on the market'. And everybody takes it as FACT when in actuality it's not. That type of thing is the gasoline that fuels all the rumors that never come to fruition...that is..people twisting info this way and that and interpreting it in a way that makes them feel all warm and fuzzy and eventually others accepting it as a fact. This is precisley why I like Adster's posts of lists of things that we know to be fact and don't just assume is fact.

Hi Boo girl, I know your addressing the question to Adster ( and I'm no Adster) but IMO, what leads me to believe the article is recent is that they are repeatedly addressing the inflation problem and the 50%+ or higher inflation rate which was not a great problem in my understanding until these last few months.

Mike very good observation. Missed that totally. it was I know of until earlier this year at 30%. When I jumped on board in April until now the mention of 50% to 70% has just been report in the last three months or less.

If you read the article it states a paragraph about September 06.

    Thumbs up

One can go to iraqigovernement.org and read the article there. I don't think it is an old article as it mentions Sept. 2006
