i thought the articles after the second review said they had been given all their assets including control of their own currency. i realize that last meeting is marketed as 'final meeting' but im not convinced there is still any regulation on thier currency by anyone.

The fact that they have intervened buying so much in such a short period is what interests me. This overal picture is very GOOD for all of us and you should be excited to watch this process. We are truly seeing a remakrable "thing" right before our eyes. As always, I am optimistic and think we are "close to the bottom".
Thank you so much for your informative posts. Something is nagging at me, though, about the CBI buying back the "notable" quantities of dinar in the past week. I have been following CBI auctions somewhat for maybe about 10 months. If my memory serves me correctly, 10 or so months ago the CBI sold both dinar and USD far more consitently than in recent months.Since the spring, early summer, the CBI has sold almost exclusively (save for a few million here and there) USD at the daily auctions, purchasing back dinar. We have had 3-4 record USD auctions recently. However, the CBI has missed 8-10 auctions in the last 3 weeks due to Ramadan and the Saddam verdict. Considering this it is dificult for me to look at the recent activity as more unusual than the activity of many months of the CBI buying dinar. The large auctions, I figure could have been influenced by the missed opportunities of the days in which it what closed. I respect your observations and theory. I am just wondering why you see the very recent activity as a possible "knee jerK" action. Thank you in advance for your comments.

But for the record I believe Saddam had chemical weapons. But do you know who sold them to him?............ The United States. We essentially put Saddam in power. There is a video of Donald Rumsfield shaking hands with Saddam when he visited Iraq in 1983 I believe most Iraqi people know this. I know most people just listen to the main stream news and dont dig deep in the truth of these wars. Maybe you should try it.

    Dont believe it...

Shaking Hands with Saddam Hussein - Press Release

OK I am done... back to regular broadcasting....lol
OK NO disrespect here but is there really a sensable argument for Sadaam NOT having WMD??

HE gased the Kurd's didn't he?? Is this in question?? He killed HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of his own FACKING PEOPLE!! What's to dig into. I don't care if Santa gave them to him for Christmas....

Sadaam had WMD at some point in time. There is no arguing that. It wasn't only George that said it, it was everyone. It isn't George and George alone. If the US was wrong for going into IRAQ, then the entire US was wrong, not just George.

So dig some more about how he and his son's Opey and Dopey would sit on the balconey at the palace and shoot at IRAQ people with deer rifles. What do you think all these mass graves are?? DO you think all those people died of the flu. Open your eyes and stop blaming people. It is done. If it was wrong then everyone was wrong not only GW.

I noticed that CBI has switched to using Central Bank of Iraq, al Rasheed Street, Iraq as the listed owner on their server but the server location is still listed as in the USA (cbiraq.org)

I believe you are correct - if eveybody will read the document on the IAMB website dated 10-30-06 you will see that they have control and the "final meeting dec 11-12" will be a review of this document of what GOT DONE with the IAMB WATCHING. On 11 & 12 IAMB will say "JOB WELL DONE YOUR GOOD TO GO BY YOURSELVES".

I like the way you think....if this is the scenario then shouldn't we expect a reval at any time now so they can show the IAMB on Dec 11-12 that they are doing remarkable job with managing their currency. Seems to me that they don't really have anything new to bring to the meeting on the 11th and 12th unless of course they reval and bring the beginning of economic recovery.

By golly I think you got it. All we got to do is wait now.
