Gunmen rob bank in Baghdad, and killed four of his guards
The killing of four guards Rafidain Bank branch (Al pratha) Attivih area in Baghdad today, Friday, when unidentified gunmen stormed the bank and stole a quantity of money.

A security source said "the police came to the scene and found that the armed men had opened the bank's treasury through thermal and stole amounts of money after that clashed with members of the protection and killed four of them."

The Iraqi Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) determined the sales price of December to American buyers at a deduction of 8.20 $ of the price in West Texas Intermediate crude oil contracts, compared to the American discount of 8.90 $ in November contracts.

The price of oil shipments in December contracts for Asia was determined at the prices of Oman and Dubai crude oil minus 2.90 $, which is ten cents less on the price in November.(Source)AlSabah

Not to get into you personal business but the dinar you pruchased, did you purchase low denominations? My fear is that I have half my dinar worth in the 25k bills and I am getting a little nervous that something is sneeking around the corner to do away, freeze, or recall the high denominations.

They will not call the high denoms worthless. To me that would be like the US putting out an article saying the $100.00 bill will no longer be accepted as legal tender as of now. I would assume that most of us old skool folk have the 25's & I don't see any reason to wory about it.

The lack of inclusion of ministers from the Supreme Council in the cabinet reshuffle expected
MP from the United Iraqi Alliance, Sheikh Hamid Maaleh that would be no change to the Cabinet officers of the Supreme Council of Islamic Revolution.
Maaleh said in a press statement today, Friday, "that the holding of ministerial changes should be accomplished through the Committee which was formed in the Committee of Seven to follow-up the performance of ministers so that meets the requirements of institutionalized work."
He said, "The Committee of Seven started observing the performance of ministers and coalition and will submit its report at the next meeting of the Presidium of the House."

An official of the Iraqi oil sector stated yesterday that Iraq raised the official selling price of Basra light crude oil to be shipped in December to its clients in the United States, but reduced the price to buyers in Europe and Asia.
