    Default Ok,Enough Said

    Pauli,

Had asked a legitament question. He was asking for everyones opinion. He did not need a slam dunking. I also read THIS in our forum about 4 to 5 weeks ago. It is some where in our history files. Yes, Paulie is a nice young man and I mean a young man. Him and I have talked in the past. He does go to school and trying to keep up is sometime difficult, I know it is for me. If I did not have the best people on this forum that I can contact, I to would be very lost.

All I am asking is to be a little more conciterate to some of us here.

UNSC set to extend MNF force next week until Dec 2007

UNITED NATIONS, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- The UN Security Council is scheduled to extend the mandate of the Multinational Force (MNF) in Iraq next week until December 31st, 2007 and that in response to a request by Iraqi prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki.

According to a draft resolution circulated among council members, the council would review the MNF mandate no later than June 2007 and declare that it will terminate its mandate earlier if the government wishes to.

The council would also extend until December 2007 the arrangements to deposit the proceeds from oil and natural gas export sales into the Development Fund for Iraq and the arrangements for the monitoring of the Fund by the International Advisory and Monitoring Board (IAMB).

These two kinds of arrangements would also be reviewed, at the Iraqi government's request, no later than June 2007.

The council would also ask the US to continue to report to the council, on behalf of the MNF, on the efforts and progress of this force on a quarterly basis. (more) sj.

In my opionion it is a protection for the big corruption over there. We read reports about the uge amounts dissapeared by corruption.

Another problem is that they cannot agree on the oil revenue share right now.

They must need to open their markets for foreign investment. The disagreement and corruption cannot be solved right now well then pump it into this fund.

After opening your market, solve your problems and when you are ready unlock the fund. I see it as something positive.

Don't think the donor countries are happy with donating money that leaves behind the backdoor by corruption.

They can request when they want and no later than june 2007.

I don't think this will hinder the RV and I personally think it is a good temporarily solution for these problems.

But if you're in the U.S. and you purchase something of high value, such as a rare collectable stamp with that kind of money (anything over $10,000) it is reported to the feds. What about other countries?

Hassan Sanid, member of council of representatives of united Iraqi alliance bloc has said that some parliamentary figures did not feel the responsibility and the mission upon them and did not do their roles which have given to them by millions of Iraqi people; and that council bodies remained paralyzed due to absence of some members. He added that government program represented by Maliki full of current situation needs and with governmental formula which has been agreed by council under the pressure of constitutional time, showing that this matter did not give a space for thinking or searching for sufficient ministers.Sanid sees that political blocs should be a supporter for prime minister in reformulating government.

Iraq signs a $7.7 million irrigation systems deal with Austria

    MENAFN - 19/11/2006

(MENAFN) According to reports, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in Iraq has signed a contract with an Austrian firm for the supply of irrigation systems, Azzaman reported.

The $7.7 million contract will enable the ministry to produce sprinkler and drip systems inside the country.

In a statement, the company has begun implementing the first stage of the contract which includes the manufacture of metal pipes for the system.

However, the production is supervised by the State Company for Mechanical Industries which will shoulder the mass manufacturing of the systems and their shipment to dealers across the country.

It is worth mentioning that the contract will help the company focus on other urgent metal products already in high demand locally, including electrical posts which the company says it can now manufacture in huge quantities
