It sure seems to be..too bad they didn't mention the "amount" of the subsidy. Looks like they are having trouble locating and distributing to families so they are doing some kind of a registration via the postal service?

This sounds to me like not as many recipients responded so it will take a months less time to distribute the gifts....the reason for the lack of response was poor security.

IMO this is not bad news. Iraq is not ready to control this money. I think this is better for us and for Iraq. It will also help to have continued pressure on them to address corruption and the needs of the Iraqi people. I think donor nations will also be more apt to release funds if they can be assured that Iraq is using their own funds properly and transparently.

IMO those of us that have had the good fortune to stumble upon this investment should pay our taxes with a big facking smile on our face. It is good for our country. It is one of the reasons that we were allowed to get in on it in the first place.

I will pay my 15% and do it dancing a jig.

I also believe that the government is going to restrict a lot of people from taking this party overseas to those places you USED to be able to hide your money. This isn't the 70's any longer. This is just my opinion however.

Don't let greed get ya down people. DO what ya gotta do but I want to be on good terms with the tax man. I don't want to be looking over my shoulder when I should be riding around my new ranch with a cold beer in my hand. Can ya dig it?
