Exactly. Never believed that one.
They told us inflation = 50% they did nothing and prices only raised, so inflation could never be down.
Now we suddenly see a 76%, before the 50% it was 70%.
Agree with you. There aren't many options available. Increasing the rate of dinar what they are doing now is only the smallest thing they can do.
How can you curb this kind of inflation with 3 dinars point a day. No way, the big move must come and that one would also increase the purchasing power of the Iraqi people.

Exactly. I read also that they are going to implement the most possible number of project from 1/1/2007 in Basra.
We see a lot of projects being started.
They will and must act now these last 6 weeks.
We read about the oil revenue pumped into the development fund of iraq for now.
If I remember well this was the last point of the HCL they could not agree on, the sharing of the oil revenue.
I think they make a HCL with the oil revenue pumped in this fund but they can open their markets. If they continue talking about this foreign investment wouldn't be able till next year and they NEED it NOW!!
They use the fund for reconstruction of all Iraq and always can share later if they agreed on how to do this. It also curbs the corruption at the same time, another big problem right now.
I believe the FIL is ready, HCL can be made ready now. EU today, WTO soon, ICI soon. This 6 weeks are all or nothing for Iraq.
