This was my thought as well. But I have a couple of concerns about the HCL. Now they are stating early next year and what really worries me is the arguments over oil rights with the Kurds and the rest of the Government. I think this maybe one of the big delays and why we have not seen an RV yet. On the positive side they are gearing up for something with the auctions but I just hope arguments do not send them into snail pace.

I have read statements that this HCL would be ready beginning next year but also that it would be by then end of this year and also that it would be enacted by the end of this year.

If I remember well it is in the SBA of the IMF that they must have done the HCL by 12/31/2006.

Latest I read, if I remember well with all the info that is coming out lately, that they agreed on the HCL only on the sharing part.

I hope they can clear this up soon, I believe there is another parliament about the HCL this thursday.

Then again we read that they will pump the oil revenue in the development fund of Iraq.

I think that they MUST PASS this HCL in December. It is the most important piece of the puzzle for the whole world to come in.

That is why I think why they have chosen to pump the oil revenue in this fund. In this way they can pass a HCL and change it later when they agreed on the sharing part and it also prevent corruption on these revenues.

I have no doubt that this HCL is in place by mid-december. It is the key and the need to foreign investment which they need very hard.

I posted that last night, and the pictures on there are terrible to say least, there are alot of dates throught it but it seems to give a "plan" of sorts of things to come. The picture of the 10 dinar to me looks like the 10k dinar but it is cleary 10 not 10000, my comment earlier on this was that there were 14 denoms printed, there are 9 in circ. 4 shown on the doc equals 13, and I think it SGS that said a long time ago that one denom of the coins were stolen that would make 14, I know SGS was looking into this last night, but it is still a good read if you have the time

No idea at all what their target is for dinars out of circulation. Have not seen a single post that would point to a conclusive number. The 10K gifts have still not been given out. This however, is a good sign. When they get the dinar to the right position, then we'll see the real intent of this newest movement. BTW, I think I remember you from IIF. If so, glad to see you, The people and info at RolClub are the best !!!!
