Thanks,
Good finds posted by Neno, John, Adam and others lately, and that shows everyone is really getting interested in the news. Not only are we seeing a better idea of what is going on in Iraq, but with each article it is made more clear that most of the good news is still being suppressed to a large degree. The fact that so many insurgents are being turned in by other Iraqi's is the best sign yet that they will not win, not matter what is reported my major media. It is all about politics here in US, and with elections coming up, and the biased press, they are looking more foolish every day as people become more educated about the truth.
I have not heard anything different, and meetings have been constant for past few days which is now being reported with Bush and all of Iraqi leaders, so look for some good news next week is what I am hearing. So much is happening, just as so much has already happened to bring us to this point, and it is all good. The talk of spreading out the wealth equally among all groups is important as this will be the way to squelch the remaining violence. Wealth equally distributed is an amazing tool to stop terrorists.
Once the Iraqi people taste wealth, they will turn on anyone who stands in the way of their new found freedom, free enterprise, and wealth. With the price of oil to remain high, and with production now expected to pass 2M barrels daily, Iraq will be swimming in dinar, dollars, marks, yen, you name it, as the investments pour into economy. Some major oil investments are in the works to modernize drilling, and refining, and in short order Iraq will be at 3M barrels a day, and that is significant for building reserves to back the dinar, so hang on, we are almost home free. (g)
Good luck to all, Mike

In the words of Mike, interesting.....
CBI site been down most of morning, Bush, (see below making a surprise trip to see Maliki) the announcement of convertibility on the US State Department's site. Kinda makes you wonder how close we are guys.....

President Bush made a surprise visit to Iraq on Tuesday to meet newly named Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and discuss the next steps in the troubled, three-year-old war.
It was a dramatic move by Bush, traveling to violence-rattled Baghdad less than a week after the death of terror chief Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a bombing attack. The president was expected to be in Baghdad a little more than five hours.
The trip was known only to a handful of aides and a small number of reporters sworn to secrecy because of obvious security threats for Bush and members of his entourage.
