That puts our grand total of Dinars withdrawn at 1,031,879,355,000. The total offered for sale was 5,330,000 but a lesser number actually sold. Not enough Dinars in the coffers perhaps? HMMMMMMMM. I'm a long time holder, a medium time watcher of the rolclub, and a first time poster. I'm up after working till about 1 Thursday morning, and am busy now cooking onions and celery. I sure like what I've been seeing the last couple of weeks, and always check in here as you guys are so up on this thing. Not a naysayer in the group. What fun this is to see this rate changing daily.

After reading the article several times, it seems that even the IAMB was surprised to be asked to stick around. This would confirm all of our thoughts that Iraq was being given the green light from the IAMB to take control.

I would think that if this was directly linked to a revaluation, and if we are correct in our assumptions that this is where the CBI has been heading towards for the last two weeks, then our first assumption was wrong, and that the IAMB's control will have nothing to do with it.

In fact, this could be an attempt to calm worries and to bolster a revaluation. With the IAMB still in place, the world community as well as the Iraqi people can be assured that with all of the corruption going on in Iraq, this is one area that is untouched.

Just my opinion and a little positive spin,

I think you are right about that!

It is wished by some donor countries and I think it is to prevent the oil revenues for being wasted by corruption.

A good solution for the time being but I agree that a RV is indepenent. I think IMF Article VIII is the key to that one which no one heard of anymore.

I noticed that a couple of people posted the email that we sent out today but the numbers didn't stay in the spreadsheet format. I have shortened it a little and made it a little easier to read. I haven't included the small auction of a few hours ago, but this is all of November. This does not include however the two days they purchased dollars while at the same time selling them. It was only a small amount (don't have it in front of me, but if memory serves, it was no more than a total of about 6 million USD).

are you figuring only the in country sales of dollars? i would think that the out of country sales were the majority of other countries currencies and not dinar. unless of course a country had dinar to trade back to iraq. im not sure you can figure up exact amounts considering you dont have a breakdown of the exact commodity being exchanged for the dollars.

Bush, Iraqi Prime Minister to Meet

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (AP) - President Bush and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki will meet next week in Jordan to discuss the security situation in Iraq , the White House announced Tuesday.

In a joint statement, the two leaders said: "We will meet in Amman, Jordan, on Nov. 29-30 to continue our consultation on building security and stability in Iraq."

The statement was released by press secretary Tony Snow to reporters returning with Bush to Washington from Asia.

Bush will fly directly to Amman from the NATO summit in Rega, Latvia.

"We will focus our discussions on current developments in Iraq, progress made to date in the deliberations of a high-level joint committee on transferring security responsibilities and the role of the region in supporting Iraq," the statement said.

"We reiterate our commitment to building the foundations of a peaceful, democratic and secure Iraq and to strengthening the partnership between our two nations," the statement.

The two leaders also said they look forward to meeting Jordan's King Abdullah II.

The Vice President Dick Cheney to Iraq today, Thursday, in a surprise visit was announced earlier.
