D-Day and I are not being foolish . We are looking at a crumbling situation very logically HE being much more articulate and informative than me. In viewing the increasing tensions and mind boggling stupidity of the Maliki adminsiatration I only see a high r/v (sustainable only short term) as a last
ditch effort to stay in power. Financially rewarding for us but tragic for the innocent and slap in the face of the brave American (Allied) soldiers. YES, I
hope to make a small fortune but I emotionally bleed over each American
casualty. OF COURSE I HOPE FOR THE BEST but expect the worst.Last edited by bigred52; 24-11-2006 at 08:40 PM.

DayDream, you're spot on about this!
**Just from research of my own and reading all posts here every day you can see the steady progress CBI has been making. To us, holding our breath for the rv we are often frustrated 'cause it seems to us that "all they have to do is....(fill in the blank)..." and they can then rv. Then another puzzle piece appears and we say a collective "ooohhh!!! huh?!" as the picture begins to emerge from tiny mosaic scraps. We're all learning so much about what it takes to accomplish what the CBI has undertaken on the world stage - it's a lot different from planning a luncheon or coaching little league. We have to admire how much planning this has taken and makes you wonder just how long ago (years more than likely) the seed of thought was planted to bring forth the crop of greens we're all expecting. While our individual needs may be for the health and welfare of our immediate families as well as humanitarian projects in our own backyards, we are merely grabbing onto the coat-tails of those who had HUGE visions along with the expertise, clout and resources to see them through to this point. It's really dumb-founding when you think of it, so....I'll hush now.....Motto: I'm a little acorn nut. Life Goal: To become a mighty oak.

DayDream:
AGAIN! You are so right!!! With this kind of support and interest out there, there is every reason to believe that an RV is imminent! There is an old saying (and I'll paraphrase, 'cause I don't know it exactly): "A merchant has allegiance to no country" - and because of this, a business person is the first to recognize how a profit is to be made from most situations. This is like a giant T-shirt concession on steroids and everyone with a slogan is going to want to peddle his wares! On this basis, right here in the good ol' USA we have mega-sports stadiums built in the slums using tax-payer dollars - and if you think that teams are supported strictly on ticket sales, you are incredibly naive! They also know that the sooner they get a toe-hold, the more $$$ to be made and more credible they will be for having been in for the long-haul. I predict that, once the gates are actually flung open (just after the RV) the opposition will be won-over over time - it may take several years, and there will be intermittent up-rising but as new generations come up in Iran especially, they will embrace the changes. See how the Kurds' lifestyles have changed over the past 15 years? The beauty of this is that NO ONE is going to FORCE a religious person with true conviction to depart from his faith: the faith of the people is shaped from study, inner reflection, prayer and working that faith on a personal basis. No amount of "seduction" or "temptation" can change a true follower and these changes do not threaten the lifestyle of those bordering countries. They have the choice NOT to participate in any lifestyle they find abhorrent - but if they continue to kill their brothers and sisters they have made these choices and must deal with the spiritual consequences. Thanks for posting so many good articles, DayDream. I so enjoy this RolClub site. I've been reading for the past 5 months or so and only recently began to post...And no, I've never posted on any other site - only observed. Truthfully, I have no idea how to post (technically) any of the many articles I've read elsewhere - Only thing I've learned is how to respond to someone else's post. Neno: I've read through FAQ's but can find no "1-2-3" on how this is done. Would be every so greatful for any direction. So..."exit, stage left!" to await instruction.Motto: I'm a little acorn nut.
