ok, let me try this again My thoughts are that once the CBI reaches the rate of 1365 (when i was stating higher, i meant the value of the dinar)...sorry for those who mis-understood...I guess when talking about the rate it would mean lower. So lets just say the rate of 1365 or lower I am hoping that the dinar will reval soon after. Guess I got my tangue tungled.

TEHRAN, Nov. 25 (MNA) -- The terrorist bombings that killed more than 220 residents of Baghdad's Sadr City on Thursday have caused great concern among Iranians.
The bloodshed happens at a time when U.S. forces are responsible for maintaining security in important areas of Iraq’s cities. The increasing insecurity and the focus of the terrorist attacks on the Shias show that there is an organized conspiracy against the Iraqi majority. The secret visit to Baghdad by U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney and former secretary of state James A. Baker, who is currently the chairman of the Iraq Study Group, is part of the conspiracy. As these developments were unfolding, it was announced that Tariq Aziz, the former Iraqi foreign minister and close aide of deposed dictator Saddam Hussein, would be released from prison. In fact, these events are all part of a new U.S. plot to topple Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s elected government and hand control of the country to Baathist elements. After 43 months of occupation, the United States’ plans in Iraq have come up against a wall. U.S. officials believe the root of their failure is the fact that the Shias are attempting to gain their rights through democratic elections. But U.S. officials unrealistically imagine that the Iraqi minority can best guarantee U.S. interests in the war-torn country because they enjoy the support of some Arab states. This minority, which had a tight grip on power for more than eight decades, refused to grant key roles to the majority because they were accustomed to seeing transfers of power only through military coups. At this stage, the U.S., under the influence of certain regional powers, has come to the conclusion that this minority, due to its geographical and ideological position, can help Washington in the implementation of the New Middle East Initiative. In light of the events that have taken place in the world over the past decade, the theory appears very illogical because if the minority comes to power in Iraq, international terrorism would probably intensify. 9/11 and the terrorist attacks in London and Madrid proved that Arab terrorists with false religious interpretations that have nothing to do with the true Islam can seriously threaten global security if they acquire a secure base. The Baathists’ return to power could provide just such a base for the terrorists who are responsible for the bloodbath in Iraq. Iraq’s new government has been established through free elections. Helping the Maliki government suppress the Arab terrorists and uproot terrorism in the country is the only way out of the current crisis. The United States has no alternative but to hand over security affairs to the Iraqi government and gradually withdraw its troops from the country because the era of military coups, like the ones that happened in the 1960s and 1970s, is over. If the U.S. intends to bring the Baathists back to power, not only Iraq but the entire region will witness a new crisis whose repercussions will be felt by regional and extra-regional powers. RMN/RS/HGENDMNA

Surely none of the dinar gang will believe this BS! This 'News' is coming from Iran. What can you expect. It's war mongering alright.
    Cop this bit especially

"it was announced that Tariq Aziz, the former Iraqi foreign minister and close aide of deposed dictator Saddam Hussein, would be released from prison. In fact, these events are all part of a new U.S. plot to topple Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s elected government and hand control of the country to Baathist"

Next thing we know they will install Saddam in power. Yea, right!

    Default "Microfinance" summit

Summit outlines strategies for microfinance industry in Iraq

The Iraq National Microfinance Summit organized by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded IZDIHAR project Nov. 14 to 15 in Erbil attracted more than 100 participants to a discussion of the role of microfinance in economic development and job creation in Iraq.

The audience included Iraqi and international microfinance practitioners, private sector partners, government officials, international financial institutions and USAID representatives.

"The Summit for the first time brings together all the stakeholders to take stock of the industry as it exists today," IZDIHAR Chief of Party Baljit Vohra said at the Summit. "Microfinance, as defined in Iraq, creates employment and self-employment opportunities. We look forward to the deliberations of this summit helping to outline a strategy for this sector that will lay the foundation for a thriving microfinance industry in Iraq."

"Given the unique environment in which microfinance institutions operate in Iraq, there are no real precedents to draw on for guidance. This Summit assisted donors in formulating practical programs with realistic expectations for microfinance in Iraq," USAID's Greg Howell said.

I'm not sure what "microfinance" is, but looks like there is a small subset really interested in setting up same in Iraq. I mean, I understand "micro" and I understand "finance" but not in this context. Gives me the shivers, 'cause it reminds me of a large company that employs you for your 30-odd years of experience and then "micro-manages" your every breath, while wanting to hold you accountable. Lookin' for that RV!!! What effect will microfinance have on Iraq'a economy? Or is this specially set up for the "smaller denoms"? I crack me up!

The only force capable of pulling off a coup in iraq right now is the US Army, and i doubt thats in the cards for the foreseeable future. If anything, Sadr will be assassinated first (by mysterious white guy....)
