Hey guys, I'm in the $1.48 camp myself, I just wanted to know your thoughts on this post. The guy seems confident in his sources, but I still feel like .04 would do more harm than good at this point.

Not only that but 4 cents doesn't solve any Iraqi issues either....which is why I won't offload a note at that price. This kind of number really doen't make any sense.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, folks don't sell yourself short. It is unlikely most of us will get a second chance at this.Last edited by wciappetta; 27-11-2006 at 07:02 PM.
It seems that the state insists, or preserve the value of the Iraqi dinar 148 against the dollar ...Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states [ MOF Sept 2006]

Have you seen the Kurdish dinar on e-bay?????? A friend of mine called last night and shot me a link on e-bay about a 10 dinar coin dated 2006 in Kurdish currency. This was in hopes (for the kurds) to have their own country....

Excellent post! I always knew that there was a procedure for the US to move in and buy another countries currency to provide a "boost". So this implies that there is a 20 Billion insurance policy against the dinar falling. Also, I always thought that the many countries that were involved in Iraqi would not let the value of the Dinar fail once it RV'ed. Nice piece of homework.
