Dollar demand up in Iraqi Cenbank daily auction
Baghdad, Nov 27,

(VOI) – Buying demand for U.S. dollars was higher in the Iraqi central bank daily auction on Monday, while the dollar rate continued its down trend dinars as the central bank moved on with the revaluation of the local currency.The Cenbank said in its daily statement the dollar demand reached $20.580 million compared to $5.330 million on Thursday.

The central bank covered all bids received from local banks which were $3.280 million in cash and $17.300 million in foreign transfers.

The exchange rate was at 1,439 dinars per dollar, two dinars down from Thursday’s session.

Last Thursday, Iraqi demand on dollars hit a new low for 2006 and the dollar rate was down three dinars amid expectations of lower demand for the U.S. currency.

She Russian company specialized in the field of oil readiness for the establishment of refineries in the oil city of Kirkuk.
An official source in the governorate of Kirkuk News Agency (Voices of Iraq) Independent that the "governor of Kirkuk Alathenben met this evening in his office with a delegation from the Russian engineering company headed Kostbn Luis fact that the presence of Omar Saleh meat manager Kirkuk refinery and discussed with him investment in Kirkuk.

The source added that the head of the delegation of the Russian company specialized in the field of building oil refineries company was ready to participate in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of oil refineries in Kirkuk.

Check with one of the other more experienced financial guru's here but I thought it meant they have started the reval process with the pulling in the dinars etc. and then the next step I would assume would be the big leap we are waiting for. I figure they probably have stages like pulling back the dinar would be the first stage.....then hit whatever target then a full jump to 1.47 or 1.48 or there may even be another stage in between....I don't see the snail pace of 3 dinar a day....they will be throwing more than just rocks at Maliki if that's the case....they would go from rocks to rockets!!!!

Or they put him under the rocks!!

I hope this RV comes soon, they can't go on like this. The RV is the key to so many problems.

I want to see a low amount and low number of banks again (or RV) at the CBI auction, to know that we are closer then ever.

and heres whats creepy. one of the ladies in our research group back in june/july contacted the spiritual advisor for president reagan and got a reading from her. we all thought the dinar was going to hit back then within a couple weeks so when the lady told her NO she freaked out and blew off the prediction.

what she said to my friend was that the dinar would begin a slow gradual climb in november but that it would become everything she dreamed it would be in mid december. we had both forgotten about this until yesterday when we were discussing it. she had seen another psychic close to the same time who told her it would be sept/oct then paused and told her it could be as late as december. take it for what its worth but i can see why reagan had that one lady, lol!!
