The reality is that no amount of being scared or prayer is going to change the simple fact that the Sunni's want their power back...PERIOD. The wealth is only secondary to their desire to regain power. That is why the reval will not make a difference in the security situation...they want the Shiites dead, and vice versa, and they want the power. The only thing that will fix the security problem is 500,000 to 1 million troops and security forces squashing everyone who even makes a squeak about causing trouble. No security...no foreign investment...no reval. A reval will not deter these illogical people from wanting total genocide on each other. Even if the Shiite riddled countries like Syria and Iran, or others like Saudi Arabia and Jordan get involved to broker some peace...the killing will never stop until the last man is standing on one side or the other. It is their way. They are blowing a wonderful opportunity to become the wealthiest country on the planet thanks to GW. But they hate each other more than they love their own children and wealth. Very pathetic state of affairs. I will take 5 cents any day.

While Doing a little DD for my next investment, The Vietnamese Dong, I came across this entry in Wikipedia, Least valued currency unit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, I noticed something very interesting. If one looks at the chart "Historical least valued currencies", one can't help but notice that in almost every case on the chart, the reval that took place to remove it from the dubious distinction of Least Valued Currency took place on the last day of the month. Even though IQD is not the Least Valued Currency now, it does possibly give insight to when
currency revals normally take place. This would fit in really nice in the current scenario we now see. The last day of the month is this Thursday, also the last day the banks are open in the week in Iraq. They could announce late Thursday, then CBI would have all weekend to move lower denoms into the banks for their opening on Sunday, just in time for the Forex opening later that day. What thinkest you? Comments encouraged.

Why don't you try quoting my whole post not cut it up and make it something different than what I wrote and my point. That makes me mad as why bother quoting me at all.

I do not think it can't be fixed I just think we are at a critical part of the journey.

Maybe the reval is on hold because it would further fund the purchase of weapons and other means of destruction for the bad guys. The good guys are not the only ones that would benefit from a reval. The people hell bent on conflict are smart enough to invest also. You could not fund the purchase of .22 round at the current rate, but if it hits 1:1? Weapons dealers and mercenaries are an unfortunate reality, we must consider the bigger picture. Not trying to be negative, but sometimes we are participating in too much "arm chair QB or back seat driver". Again not trying to be negative or a killjoy, but money funds war and we will not be the only beneficiaries of a reval. Please excuse the spelling errors.
