p. 5 Mayor of Najaf, Asaad Abu Kalal has said that province will witness the opening of several major investment and services projects due to budget which has been allocated for the province by ministry of finance. Mayor said that "our investment ambitions and our move in this direction is an embodiment of our constitutional right in order to make Najaf a kiblah for its visitors".

p.5 General company for groves and forests has received 500 thousand tiny olive plants from Syria within its project to plant 30 million plants throughout the country during next 10 yearswhile approvals of groves have reached 70 approval with area of 10 acres each since the beginning of this year.These plants are part of a paragon with the Syrian side to import 2 million and 400 thousand tiny plants of olive

MP Younadim Kana deputy chief of the economic and investment committee emphasized that the coming period would witnessing big study to improve number of decisions which share raising up within the economic actual in Iraq.

He said in a statement issued that, the committee right studying the decisions and private legality within communications and information decision besides oil, gas and banks investment decisions in addition to any field sharing in improving the national economic for the public benefits.

He concluded that, the committee has many important ideas still at the studying period which returns within the luxury and economic development for the citizens in the state.

This would be the perfect time for Bush to pressure for a reval. Sadr's people walked out so if Iraq revals RIGHT NOW, it would make Sadr look like he was causing the problems that Iraq faces, so the people would jump on the democratic band wagon. According to American reports almost certain that all units of the American Army will be withdrawn from Anbar to Baghdad

Could be that there is more than one reason for this. I mean, it just seems that we are soooooo close, and has for several days now. Could this be somehting other than the obvious?

Yes, a very good question, and much likely. But the only thing i see if this is happening is the low participation of banks, only 4 banks did participate in todays auction. If lower denoms were out wouldnt more banks be involved?

Well, we might see a big increase in banks involved in tomorrow auction if Soflas thoughts is true!

I thought that Anbar was a stronghold for insurgents, why would they be withdrawing to go to Baghdad.....
