Reckon next 2 weeks is as good a time as any. Once the Iraqi's have money in their pockets they'll be more likely to have even less to do with the insurgents. Good times await for all folks.

Yes, as you know, the one key ingredient is the Foreign Investment Law which is what I know is the last hang up, and since so many investors are awaiting this in the oil industry, as well as how important this is to get oil flowing at the rates to support reserve requirements, this is what this meeting is all about Sunday.

As you can imagine, once the doors open, and insurgent activity is seen as under better control for the first time, this will all happen quickly once approved, and with it, obviously, what we have all been waiting for will happen, so lets hope it is this coming week as I understand it, the Sunday meeting is going to clear way for peg.

I am getting those dancin feet! I can't stay off this computer and I have to cook for this weekend! Big cook out at my house if anyone is close to the "burgh".

flygirl, You are just about an hour to far from Marlton, NJ Sure would love to be at the "barbbie." hey I was wondering about something i don't know. When the dinar should peg Is it supposedly going to stay at the value for a period of time.? My concern is i purchased a bit of dinar a little late (like Last week, and some again yesterday. I will not recieve the actual Dinars for about another week. I just don't want to miss out on CASH-IN. If the revalue price is right i want to unload at least half, and save the other half for the next reval. Have you checked out where we in the US can exchange same?BOB

Hey Bob,

Even if the dinar pegs on Monday it will take a few days for bank/exchangers to get their paperwork in order I would imagine, so I really don't think waiting a week or so is going to matter. I think Mike or Adster has already pretty much said this as well, maybe they'll reiterate...

Hey Bob,

Most big cities have foriegn echange companys and most major airports have exhange officies and various banks will be able to exchange the dinars but it may be a while after the peg or reval or whatever, before these exchange sources will actually start accepting these notes for exchange. Oh! also, casinos are another possible place to make the exchange. All this has been posted earlier.

I plan to use my personal bank, Bank Of America when the time comes to cash in. You can contact most any large bank for information regarding exchange rates. As I'm sure you know, currently there is no exhange rate for the Iraqi Dinar but once it pegs there will be.

You are going to exchange at Bank Of America. I thought I was riding B**** to the Harley Store to pick up my Bike and we were going on a Road Run.
