I would love to be wrong but I fear that if you all get this excited over an assumption that when/if an RV does happen you (SeaRayaWaitin') will probably just drop dead from excitement right where you are standing/sitting when you get the news.
Be careful, we want to see you are the Party!

But wasn't the "FIL and RV go hand in hand" school of thought brought about by the thinking that big spenders could get in for pennies on the dollar? Why have we been thinking that the FIL definately means RV? I understand there have been statements about the Dinar increasing in value and "returning to previous levels" but I would like to know why the FIL means an RV is here. The only thing I've ever read here is the aforementioned assumption about "pennies on the dollar" which I think is a bogus assumption.

the FIL had protections in it that prevent countries from buying everything up.

Financial Dictionary – Meaning for Convertible currency

    Convertible currency

"A currency readily exchanged for another, or for gold. Major currencies such as the $US, sterling and the deutschmark are easily converted. Minor, less stable currencies may be regulated by strict government-imposed exchange controls and therefore difficult or impossible to buy and sell; they are unattractive investments, not in demand, and usually associated with countries with a high inflation rate and high interest rates.
