Historical facts about Iraq
Before the founding of the Iraqi state, there is no clear concept of the Official Gazette, where the orders of Ottoman rule, published in some newspapers, such as Al-Zawra senior Iraqi newspaper only that the first print was published on laws and orders and government data was a press release issued by the Englishmen who entered Iraq in 1917.
The first issuance of the official publication was in the 1922 / August 12 the legislation began as a publication of official statements and records of the meetings of the House and Senate and lasted until 1958 had been issued for the date in question (4168), then started a new number is the number (1) 1958 / 5 / 23.

4-then seconded to the Ministry of Justice in 1975.

THANK YOU THANK YOU - was working up a post just like this but keep losing satelite - the word GAZETTE does not mean a WEBSITE even thou this is 2006 and we think every house in the world has internet!! One Iraq newspaper even states on the home page "Official Gazette of Iraq" because GAZETTE MEAN NEWSPAPER so the Iraqi people that don't have internet CAN READ WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE GOVERNMENT.

You are correct, it is the newspaper called Alwaqai aliraqiya.
