    Iraqi Presidency

So, in my opinion this means only official Gazette or it would have stated "or any other news source of the government".

I can remember, like Susie said, that there was a discussion about this but if I am correct it was about the CBI announcements that changed their policy.

In my opinion CBI and Investment Law are two seperate things.

But they still can do it anytime and I also agree with others that this law is now a done deal and the RV will be here very soon!

If I am wrong then I hope someone give me the link to the post and I will come back to say that I am wrong.

I thought so. But he, they can still do it any time they want, so in fact it doesn't matter where they publish it.

We know from Adster, that they updated the Gazette sometimes 2 days in a row and then one month later.

It can happen anytime now and we are all there!

So, yes, I think the Investment Law IS OFFICIAL ( by presidential decree or something like that), it has been made public / people have been informed by official press release, however, it will go in effect in 15 days...

    Also Article 58 says

    Article 58:

The Council of Representatives specializes in the following:

    First: Enacting federal laws.
    Second..yaddayada

    The press release starts:

Thanks Neno, but I'll fire one last shot in favor of any newspaper(gazzette) over the Official Gazzette website. You didn't include the post above, but the key words are "for all to see" - I would assume that the vast majority of the Iraqi people do not have internet access but most would read a newspaper.

    Thanks again

It seems like every month is the same. It's going to R/V on the 15th. I say treat it like any other investment, Check daily but don't get your hopes up on any time soon. I, like everyone else, hope it happens soon. the 15th of dec. would be great. I know my kids would have a better christmas. I'm not a nay sayer. I have a lot of great expectations for the dinar, but no one knows for sure when the r/v will happen. But I think we can all agree that it will happen or none of us would have bought in the dinars.

    Thanks
