I have a question about this! I was asked yesterday while at work by another dinar holder if we would be able to cash in when this thing RV's,I said yes,He then said he was told we would have to wait 4 more years! I don't know where he got his info from,He really didn't understand and neither did I.So could one of you maybe confirm or not confirm on this matter!

Yeah but look at the sentence before the one you highlighted.... he states the local market exchange rate is 1430 dinars......

You can cash your dinars in now at many banks.

(VOI) – Buying demand for U.S. dollars was lower in the Iraqi central bank daily auction on Monday, though dealers expected an imminent high demand for buying dollar in the auction.The Cenbank said in its daily statement the dollar demand reached $6.500 million compared to $7 million on Sunday.The central bank covered all bids received from local banks which were $6.500 million in foreign transfers.

Mr. Knowles, are you here?? Or can someone else please explain this. I don't understand the statement about the expected higher demand for buying dollars. Aren't we expecting a lower demand for dollars? Or am I just totally confused?

Today I went to the bank and bought 1,000,000 but the interesting part is for the first time ever the cashier ask me wich denomination I would like ?

I ask for the smaller possible ....

Let;s see tomorrow when I collect them.....which denomination I will have.
