Economic : economic development and the battle of the reconstruction of our country Iraq

    Dr. Abdul Zahra Abivari

The process of construction and reconstruction facing the new government, in fact, major battle in terms of form and content. if the circumstances today require Iraq to undermine the foundations of terrorism by any means, is supposed to direct just the same design and implement a national program of building and reconstruction. It is precisely here that must begin with economic development hence, socially terrorism and the terrorists will not succeed. Thus will the government and people of Iraq for his Fara featured high in international forums.

It is calling and encouraging the start seriously an ambitious program of reconstruction and construction, Iraq today has a parliament and an elected government and armed forces are still growing and consolidated its position, and which of the competencies and skills of national enormous confirms the existence of the foundations leadership of this process. If we add to what we mentioned the existence of abundant financial resources, that did not happen to Iraq complained that the days of scarcity, the country would then actually ready to start construction of all procedures and ages ago. Or, more visible begin the process of transforming the Iraqi nation to the most beautiful country in the democratic world So decent people fought in its entire history to live on the banks happy Ravdeh great. What is it all for the nettle existing government. I daresay that the time had come for political parties entities and individuals, as is the case with civil society institutions and institutions of the State itself to take the initiative to formulate its part of the economic program to draw a unified national priorities that will meet the goals with the word "entire nation to nation-building.

Above all, The process of building and construction in which we are, We also believe, must be settling on a program aimed at overall economic development. Since the matter should also, no doubt, identify key things must be based upon the program. Due to global conditions and the state of administering Iraq, which have no counterpart in another country, requires basic principles into account in our view should not be ignored. And to remember the following :

    1. The private sector as an effective factor in the success of all aspects of economic and social development. What the State must not only consolidate positions in this sector, commercial markets and the strengthening of the Interior, but its positions in the international economic areas. Then give him part of the task of building and construction and national economic development in general.

2.State retaining ownership of natural resources in the country as well as the management of some institutions strategic outlook major ports, airports and railways in order to ensure permanent financial source for its treasury to be able to spending on reconstruction projects and development programs as well as the impact on the local markets and to ensure stability the ability to provide economic incentives for the productive sectors all.

3.Considering the success of development and the general welfare in the country must be based on local production and the use of modern technology and rely primarily on the size of the national science and skills.

4.Linking the national economy with the global markets personal stabilize Iraq through the principle of cooperation, integration and mutual benefit with other nations

    Okay Dinar Peeps(people)

I just got off the phone with a Chase Bank Mgr. I was asking about cashing in my dinars without having an acct. He told me that there is a $5 service charge(which I am not sweating) he also said there is a 2 day turn around time(still ok) He asked how much did I want to trade in(for which I gave no answer) then he proceeds to tell me that they can only cash up to $5000 a day. It look like I'll be setting up sleeping quarters in Chase Bank. Has anyone else heared of any Nonsense such as this?????

Ask the branch manager what their policy is if you want cash versus having them credit your account. I think you'll find that if you have an account and simply what to convert your dinars to dollars and have the money posted to your account, you won't have to camp out at the front door of the bank for days on end. They might get a little ticked off when you keep asking them if you can come in and use the bathroom !!

This is a long article between the Morning Newspaper and the Iraqi Oil Minister. I just pulled out this part below. Please see link for further (good) info.

Morning / The Constitution of Iraq oil to be king of all Iraqis wherever they dispute the fact there between you and the government of Kurdistan on the ownership of oil wealth in the region?
Minister / Constitution is clear in Article 111 which stipulates that oil and gas are the property of all the Iraqi people in regions and provinces such a weighty and the Constitution must be interpreted and Ivsrkkl each other, we must understand the general spirit of the Constitution which makes for a federal, united cities where Iraqis are equal As for the distribution of wealth P The article had the ownership of the wealth, which represents the biggest wealth of Iraq therefore no one would disagree on the interpretation of this article Differences between the Ministry of Oil and brothers in Kurdistan is not on this article, no one claims that the ownership of oil and gas to Ataud to the Iraqi people and the consequent understanding is that oil and gas revenues should go to a federal fund and distributed to all regions of Iraq, according to the rate of population density of each region or province.

Morning/ and the system is now in effect?
Minister / Yes, the whole of Iraq and so that we can preserve Iraq's unity and coexistence between Iraqis and the balanced development of all regions and avoid internal fighting and a draft bill in this oil and gas produced in the Oil Ministry and is now discussed at the Committee on Energy and hope to conclude the discussion and send to the House of Representatives of legislation soon

Morning / How do you deal with other global oil Kalaobk and Arab Kalawabk frameworks and future cooperation in the light of marketing policies and the pressures of the industrialized countries on oil-consuming prices and production quotas?
Minister / Iraq, a founding member of OPEC and OAPEC and the founding conference of the OPEC meeting in Baghdad, but because of our active policies of the previous regime and senseless economic embargo of Iraq has been unable to export its quota system established in OPEC, Therefore, we requested an exception from the obligation to share certain that we produce less than our share and understand this now we unspecified production line of Iraq today can be produced and exported Maishae Vandmahankhfedt world prices by a The OPEC states have agreed to reduce production by one million, two hundred thousand barrels a day, excluding Iraq this reduction and actually improved and stabilized prices.
The brothers and friends in OPEC understand the condition of Iraq has welcomed his return active member of the organization at the last meeting, held in Vienna.

    POL-ARAB LEAGUE-IRAQ
Iraq committee members to review energizing Arab role

CAIRO, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Foreign ministers of the Arab League's Iraq Committee members will meet here on Tuesday to discuss energizing the Arab role to help Iraq and activate the Arab League's initiative on the Iraqi national conciliation initiative, a League official said on Monday.

"The meeting is designed to review what the Arabs can do to prevent Iraq from sliding toward an obscure destiny," said Director of the Arab Department in the Cairo-based Arab League, Ali Jaroush, who is in charge of the Iraqi file.

He said in a press statement the League was ready to respond to the decision of the participating ministers, underlining the League's commitment and determination to bear responsibilities to achieve national conciliation in Iraq.

The committee groups Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, and Syria, in addition to Iraq and the League's secretary general.

Jaroush recalled that a meeting of the preparatory committee for the Iraqi Conciliation Conference was held here last July upon a League's invitiation. He said another, due to be held last November, was postoponed due to political and security obstacles in Iraq.

He said the League's Secretary General Amr Moussa in messages to Arab foreign ministers last month had underlined the League's adherence to continuing its drive in this regard.

Many will sit on their dinar just like you and I would/will. So, the price will have to continue upward. I don't think small increases of 2 or 3 dinar is going to get much done for very much longer. And if our understanding is accurate, they (CBI) intends to raise the level of the dinar to pre-war levels. i.e. either around .31 or maybe over $3 USD. Should they raise the level to over $3, you'll have to forgive me for not being on the forum for a while. Thank you for your questions and comments.
If they raise it to 3$.......hell it will take a few weeks until my hands stop shaking so I can log on and type!!!!!!!!
