Why the backlash today? Socatas post #194

Because there are naysayers on this thread (including those who always claim not to be before they come out with thier negative statements- the old I'm not being a naysayer BUT....) who are blatantly naysaying. Then you have the grow slow crowd who insist that the projection/ guideline from the IMF from 2003 that getting to 1345 by the end of this year is gospel. The CBI has NEVER stated that they will or are doing this!!!!

Thanks Mike, I was sure CBI had never made this statement, but with some of the recent posts stating they had, I was beginning to doubt myself.

    Thanks again, Gloribee

It look like I'll be setting up sleeping quarters in Chase Bank. Has anyone else heared of any Nonsense such as this?????

the pertinent term here is 'cash'. all banks have limits to the amount of cash they will hand out from a deal like that accordingly. im sure they are aware that you wont be the only one coming to get 'cash' and that will certainly put them in a bind if they tried to give you all large sums of cash.

does everyone here plan on getting all their dinar turned into usd and walking out of a bank afterward?? it wont happen. banks DEPOSIT large sums of monies then if you want to draw on that account you have a bankcard. im sure you can get your bankcard daily limits set accordingly.

we will be under the 'currency radar' with homeland security. they are discouraging money laundering practices. no one is void of this scrutiny.

Wow I just came from Freedinar’s office and there doors were still open, not selling Dinar, but still open. I think it is funny how fsndirector would say they were closed without checking into weather they were opened or closed. In this matter yes they are open.
We should have our facts straight before we go saying untrue statements. Makes me wonder if I should ever believe another word FSNDIRECTOR says on this forum. We are all in this together.

One bank that I deal with for large check cashing is Commerce Bank in New Jersey. When I need to cash a check larger than $5000.00 I must give them a day's notice so it can be drawn from the vault, they do not keep large amounts on hand. I have also had this problem with BOA in North Jersey.

Well, the answer is quite simple. They don't really know if the Dinar is going to increase in value. No one can predict the future. If we could everyone would be on one side of the fence or the other. They would either know to hold the dinar or to sell the dinar. They have had years of promises with little relief, so who has more reason to doubt the rise of the dinar? Iraqi's or us?

Furthermore, life sometimes dictates the behavior that people have to follow. Look at how many of our fellow investors have chosen to cash in their dinars recently because they need some cash. They suspect the dinars are going to rise in value but their personal situation dictates that they cannot wait, they need dollars now. Unfortunately, life goes on with or without them. Sometimes life is cruel no matter which side of the fence you are on.

I have to chuckle...What an awful problem to have! A LIMIT on how much CASH we'll be able to hold in our hands after the RV!!! I plan to deposit and grin when I use my DEBIT card!!! Another option is to ask the bank to load up one or several VISA cards with a pre-measured amount of money (like a gift card)...say in increments of $25K so you can go SHOPPING! You can even "gift" pre-loaded VISA's or MasterCards for friends/family in that giftees name. I guarantee your present won't be "re-gifted" very often!
