According to the Oil and Gas Journal, Saudi Arabia contains 261.9 billion barrels of proven oil reserves (including 2.5 billion barrels in the Saudi-Kuwaiti Divided, aka "Neutral" Zone), around one-fourth of proven, conventional world oil reserves. Around two-thirds of Saudi reserves are considered "light" or "extra light" grades of oil, with the rest either "medium" or "heavy." Although Saudi Arabia has around 80 oil and gas fields (and over 1,000 wells), more than half of its oil reserves are contained in only eight fields, including Ghawar (the world's largest oil field, with estimated remaining reserves of 70 billion barrels) and Safaniya (the world's largest offshore oilfield, with estimated reserves of 35 billion barrels). Ghawar's main producing structures are, from north to south: Ain Dar, Shedgum, Uthmaniyah, Hawiyah, and Haradh. Ghawar alone accounts for about half of Saudi Arabia's total oil production capacity.

Also this brings me to a Major Point that we all need to stop and REMEMBER. As a Parent raising two sons there were times as a parent we had to make a decision or judgement call. Then we all could have just showed up Dec. 1, 2006 and said "Wow, 10 more days to go for the RV or whatever time"

BUT we all need to remember - if it was not for some that has spend days, months and even years researching, many of us would have NO CLUE what to look for in the news that we read. So some dates have come and gone, it doesn't change that it will NOT RV one day. We just have to continue to wait and read, examine, rip part anything out of iraq to come up with a date or time of RV.

So until somebody can walk into the Iraq President office or the CEO of CBI and point blank ask them "what day you going to RV?" Lets not bash people that have "really" busted their tail to get us at this point in time.

Between now and DEC. 15TH WILL BE FUN to see what may take place. So everyday is a.............

There are many who have been tracking this venture for what seems like an eternity (myself included). Everytime nothing happens it seems more desperate reactions are abundant. I for one am hopeful something happens by the 14th. I will predict this right now...if nothing does happen before the 14th...testiness will abound...understandably so. It's easier for some to say be patient, and sound advice it is, however...reality is, many are weary of the wait.

All that been said, I want to say it has been a pleasure reading all the posts here at Rolclub. I am a longtime IIF and must say very refreshing here!

i seen it comin, hence why i said i didnt think this weekend. i think we need to wait til they have that sba review and the iamb meeting. after that its REVALUE TIME!!!!
