I have heard The U.S Govt. has $5 billion in dinar. At 1500:1, just to round things off that would net 7.5Trillion dinar. At a rate of $1.40 that would exhange at $10.5 Trillion

I was looking at the Monetary Aggregate of the CBI and of course they have not updated those figures since May of this year. I conclude this was purposely done as Ispeculate it might say more than they wish to reveal.

We have to glean the news reports for more info.

Anyway it does appear as if the rate is somehow arbitrary. I cannot see a direct relation percentage wise to the circulation level and the exchange rate. Given 12.5 percent removal and about 3 percent to date rate increase doesn't make sense to me and probably has little relationship. the removal of currency from circulation is the only number i'm paying attention to. These little ticks mean very little in the RV if they follow the German model or for that matter Japan.
