Top aide of al-Qaeda in Iraq leader killed - official

Baghdad, Dec 6, (VOI) - Iraqi national security adviser Mowafaq al-Rubai’i on Wednesday said the 2nd aide of Abu Ayoub al-Masri, leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq group, was killed and eight leaders of Ansar al-Sunna militant group were arrested.
Rubai’i told a news conference in Baghdad that Abu Taha, the 2nd aide of Masri, was killed after the security forces earlier killed the first aide. He did not say where or when Abu Taha was killed.“The first two ranks of Abu Ayoub al-Masri aides were also arrested so the noose appears to be tightening around his neck,” he said.
Rubai’i said that eight Emirs (leaders) of Ansar al-Sunna militant group were arrested and another was killed. He did not reveal where or when they were arrested.
“Iraqi security forces, supported by the Multi-National forces scored great successes against Ansar al-Sunna and killed some three fifths of its leaders, leaving only the Emir of support and Emir of media,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rubai’i said the Iraq is about to launch a new security plan that gives the direct command to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki as the Chief Commander of armed forces, unlike the previous plans that gave the Iraqi forces a supporting role only.
“This was agreed in Amman summit last week between Maliki and U.S. President George Bush,” he added.

I'd say this is talking about inceasing the fuel prices by reducing the government subsidy on it. The IMF reccommends they reduce/eliminate the subsidies on fuel. By not reducing the subsidy they would be "refraining from the acceptance of reccomendations of the IMF".

I agree 100%.

My point is that we won't see a 2 point drop in the exchange rate everyday for the next year. They will have to do a bigger RV once the CBI hits their target of pulling currency out of circluation (as witnesed in recent auctions).

1--American market :

.The market is stable and low-yield rewarding for Iraqi crude oil (crude Basra Light), The China, India, Japan and Thailand, the most important entity in this market. It also has some international companies (such as Shell, and Chevron) refineries in the region, note that the vulnerability of ports in that region are therefore very limited transport by tankers of up to one million barrels cargo.
