Got to be dis-info. A 10% appreciation does nothing for inflation. The 20% interest also can only be geared to entice people to use the banking system.

On January 14th (7 days later)
It Jumped to 1170:1

460 Points

The very next day January 15th it fell 170 points to 1340
The Next auction day it fell another 100 points. Where it rippled until June 17.

Just goes to show, anything is possible

The page is there, but the numbers they are quoting are "market" prices and not "auction" prices....

The real numbers are Jan 7th auction price= 1625
Jan 14th auction price= 1405

Not significant really since the pattern we have seen for the last year has been steady as she goes, with a sudden and very recent change of plans from the CBI, reflected in the consistent dropping of the value of the dollar against the Dinar in the daily auctions.....

Time will tell what all this really means....fingers crossed here!
