I just called 4 different Chase Branches here in the Phoenix area and I have been told by all that they will not sell dinar anymore. Apparently there is no real reason. One office told me that they were never suppose to have sold them in the first place and the order not to sell them anymore was government issued. He said if I had some I was lucky. I also asked about cashing them in and after being on hold for him to get a definate answer, I was told that I could not sell them back even if I purchased the dinars from there. Anyone being told this too?

It sounds that they want to stop the spread of dinar. Which makes me believe the RV id aproaching!

The evening today, Saturday, the president of the government of Kurdistan, Barzani Najirfan


To Baghdad for the completion of talks with the Iraqi government on several issues related to oil, Kirkuk and the budget.

He explained Mohamed Khoshnaw press secretary to the Prime Minister of the Territory "that the delegation will be another series of meetings to reach final conclusions about disputed issues between the two governments, including the issue of oil, Kirkuk and the budget."

I think news on whether banks are still selling, will sell or have stopped selling shouldn't be as significant as some think it might be for the simple reason that banks do take internal decisions based on demand and supply and their actions may not necessarily have a bearing on whether the dinar would revalue or not. A lot of fuss was made about BoA selling dinars last month or the month before and was deemed to be very significant of an impending revalue as they only dealt with internationally traded currencies. As we all know, nothing transpired since their foray into dinar selling.

Just my take...and you are at liberty to ignore it like most people would!

I can say that the roller coaster ride is fast, wild and bumpy at times; I am thankful that we have a kind hearted moderators here at the ROL Club; I have hear of bitting your tongue, but in this case it would be "clinching your mouse!"

This is a great home; been a member at other forums and have a computer up on all of them. But, I would say, I have had all of them up on the rolclub a few nights and early morning, when all you "WOOTERS" start them "wwwwooooootttt" calls!

AlwaysDreaming and I just went to our branch to see about purchasing some more dinar. We were told that they would not sell or buy the dinar. We have purchased all of our from this branch. We asked them to give us the exchange rate for buying and selling and it would not come up. I had her check on another foreign currency and the rates came up for them. Seems Chase here is not selling. Sounds to me like a good thing.

Just ordered 100,000 no problem here in San Antonio. They weren't told anything different than the last couple months.
