HCL was ratified already? Or you were talking about FIL....Cause I was just thinking , right before reading your post stating that , that if Taliban ( okay, Talabani) ratifies the HCL there would be another 15 days of waiting ...

So, since the generals are alluding to us getting our troops out by the beginning of 2008, would anyone care to guess that the Iraqi economy has to be going full steam by that time? It would be hard for me to believe that the U.S. government would consider leaving before the Iraqi government can sustain itself economically. So, does anyone else interpret that this would mean a year from Jan-Feb of 2007 as a worst case scenario for a strengthening of the dinar? Not what I would want, but I could live with it if it revals. Most likely it would have to be well before the pullout though.
