The Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said that the negotiations between the Iraqi government and the central government of Kurdistan on the Iraqi dossier oil and budget «non-governmental organizations, it continues to stumble», he said, pointing out that Kurdistan is part of Iraq, which depends on Baghdad and therefore must be talks on the budget, the share of the Territories.
He explained in a dialogue to life »« conducted during a visit to Morocco in conjunction with the forum «» investment complementarities, there is disagreement on the quota for the territories, because the political agreements provide for the monitoring of 18% of the budget of the provinces, while the current level of payment does not exceed 13%.
Regarding the signing of the Kurdistan oil contracts with some international companies Finally, without referring to the government, Zebari said the presence of talks between Irbil and Baghdad «to reach a compromise satisfactory to the parties», he said, pointing out that the solution is that the central government's representation in these negotiations, but negotiations are under way with any company without the participation of the central government.

Interesting,
We have certainly seen an interesting news day, or should I say old news day. (g) As we have seen over and over, Iraq recycles articles as news when in fact it is jumbled up pieces of old articles, so don't worry about what has been going around today.
The HCL is done deal, it is not a dead issue, you will see this on Sunday enacted, the only last hold up last week was the same issue Kurd's had debated earlier, and that was about the oil yet to be pumped. This was resolved already, so don't worry about it.
The 10K has still not been mentioned at all, so we still see that this is tied to revalue for what other reason could there be for such a long delay after annoncement by gov. There are many odd things about this gov, but as we have seen, it is full of illiterates and this has to be solved so those in parliament make the proper decisions, not just the usual party line BS just like in U.S. gov. (g)
Happy Holiday Season to all, Mike

I sure like to think of the article about the 1260 rate to be yet another attempt at lies and propaganda to throw alot off target and the sniffers off the trail. From what I understand, there has been alot of purchasing of the dinar's latetly and I can't help but wonder if this causes distractions and challenges from the CBI's goal of removing dinars from circulation. Or perhaps they put this article out to persuade those that are of a weaker link to sell theirs in preparation of what is to come. I think something smells funny about this article. Does not make since compared to all the other news that has come out latetly. There is about 2 month or so left for the deadline on the 10k handout. I still think it does not make sense even at the 1260 rate to insult the iraq people in such a way. Just relax and take a chill pill, this article has come to a shock to us all but when I try and fit this into the puzzle of everything i have read and to what is going on, I do not see it fitting. Do you?

Hello everyone, I can't fathom why the CBI would want to start out with a 1260 exchange rate. The currency would still be worthless. They still wouldn't have any purchasing power, and they still wouldn't be able to create more jobs for the people with that low of an exchange rate. So, I believe like alot of you that this article is garbage. Remember that they based their plan to revise their economy by the Marshall Plan. That means there should be a revalue of the currency. They did this for Germany, and Germany prospered very quickly. I could be wrong but I don't believe that Germany had any problems with stability in their currency after they revalued either.

not to get over excited or try to hype anyone up but I'm persoanlly wondering about something. we know with the 07 budget being 41 bil at a rate if 1260 there isnt enough dinar printed to cover that.. however.. if this is one of those comma demical point issures that was covered a few times before. i could be 1.260 which might make just a little bit more sense. because they do have the reserves to cover this.. and now that we're on that topic . someone posted and article earlier about the CBI having 14bil in reserves to cover the current exchange rate NOT COUNTING GOLD ( did anyone else notice that bit or was it just me )
