The Council of Ministers may decide to release the draft National Housing and cash grant of three million dinars covered by the distribution of land detachment

After obtaining the approval of the House of Representatives

The Cabinet decided at its eighth regular session, held on the 7th of this month, as follows :

1-launch the National Housing Project, funded at $ 1 billion.
2-disposal grant of three million dinars for each person covered by the distribution of land detachment with the necessary facilities for the purpose of obtaining a mortgage.
3-obtain approval of the Iraqi parliament to allocate payment of the grant and mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2.
4 - The project includes in its first phase from both families of the martyrs, political prisoners, refugees and migrants, the disabled, the staff.
5-drafting a law to ensure the expansion and maintenance of the national housing project for the purpose of assistance in securing housing for all Iraqis.

So If they make it one 1-1 people would get 3 million for a house?

Well if I can have a 3 Million dollar house why can't they? Especially since they made it possible. It's only fair don't cha think? Besides how many slum areas are in Saudi Arabia? Don't most of them live in nice expensive houses...after all they can afford it right? Iraq will be no different.

I thought the FIL was passed already, according to past posts. And can anyone tell me where this post is by OSW that has the mysterious thing in it? I must still have the sleepy fogs of the brain.

At the current rate everyone would get $2117, they have a total of $ 1 billion allocated for this. That means 472,366 people will get the grant of $2117. That's a lot of people who are going to be buying land. It would be interesting to see what you can get for $2k in Iraq...

The 10K has still not been mentioned at all, so we still see that this is tied to revalue for what other reason could there be for such a long delay after annoncement by gov. There are many odd things about this gov, but as we have seen, it is full of illiterates and this has to be solved so those in parliament make the proper decisions, not just the usual party line BS just like in U.S. gov. (g)
