I don't know anything about freedinar but it seems like they are in it for the money. I know the DR is a great economist, its usually all about the money. I have listened to him before and he always says soon. He didn't give a peg last night. He just talked about in a year what it would be worth. It just bothers me that now they will have an endless source of dinar.

Posted elsewhere....
I am a contractor here in Saudi Arabia. Before the war broke out i cashed in my Iraqi dinar at around .30 at the local bank here. So anyone saying this was just a paper amount is wrong or the 2000 for 1 is incorrect. That was the exchange rate i got. Another thing to think about is all the middle class and upper class people traded in there dinar for 1 for 1. If the average Iraqi say had 15,000 US in the bank his 15,000 is now only worth 50 US. Lots and lots of people lost there wealth and i think thats why a revaluation is coming soon to give back what the people have lost. Im sure they can afford it as last i checked around 1.6 million barrells are being exported today. Not far off from the 2.5 mill per day before.Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
