Well here goes, take it with a pinch of salt, these aren't my sources, maybe that's a good thing, lol.

2 different people are saying a reval this weekend at any rate between .70$ to 1.02$ to the dinar.......the fact 2 different people have heard it from their sources and they're unconnected with each other gives it a tiny bit of credibility.

One of these days a rumour will come off!

Sounds wonderful indeed! I don't get my hopes anymore on them, just have a little smile. I certainly don't want to be known for just putting out rumours that don't come off, hence the indecisiveness about putting them out there. Bottom line is though that it will reval one day soon.

As for the party, yea, be great to all meet up, a top week of laughs, sun and the odd beer or 9! I can almost imagine putting a post on here getting together dates and locations and hotels etc so we can all meet up. :0)

thanks adam . this does relieve the tension some what, but i have to keep in mind it is just a rumor. quite a nice rumor.

free2b, be careful when you do, and watch what kind of leafs you use ---Poison ivy looks soft, and smooth, but oh what a diaper rash you will develop! LOL

...Now let's see..By the time it's Sunday (for most of us here anyway) it will be Monday in Iraq...so, let's definately all meet here Sunday at some point. When Tiff, Chooch and FG1 see this it's going to get LOUD in here...

Well IF it does reval this weekend then it will be in conjunction with the FI Laws being passed. Parliament are meeting Sunday, could be a big day folks.

Looks like I'm a one-gal show right now! Chooch is away from a computer for a couple days...poor girl will probably have the shakes by tomorrow night! lol! I've been asked to phone her if this goes this weekend while she's away, then she will drive almost an hour to get to a computer! I'm half tempted to give her a ring just for a giggle!

On a more serious note...lol!...Do you think that the "State of Emergency" will have any effect on 'OUR' situation? Seems to have gotten quite ugly in Baghdad in the last 24 hours....What are your thoughts? Hey! If I could crawl right into yours and Mike's brain and look around myself, I wouldn't have to ask this way!

Been reading they've 'wiped out' quite a few of the bad guys. Good news indeed, the government and security forces really are cracking down, great to see and hear.

No, this won't make a difference to a peg. I'm sure once this does peg then a lot of rebels/terrorists will be 'bought off' to not kill and bomb.

Am looking forward to Sunday and finding out what happens in parliament. Off the beer at the moment trying to lose a bit of weight, but if it pegs and/or the FI Laws are passed, reckon it'll be worth a beer or 2!
