    Exclamation Substaintial!!

OK, so you're wondering about the site azzman.com and how credible it is?

I found this on another search result:

    MEDIA
There has been a surge of media outlets since the downfall of Saddam Hussein. During his dictatorship, satellite TV was banned.
Press: Newspapers published in Arabic include Al Mada (website: www.almadapaper.com), Al Mashriq and Al Dustur. Al-Sabah (website: ÌÑíÏÉ ÇáÕÈÇÍ) is the main English-language daily , Al-Zaman (website: azzaman) is a London based daily printed in Baghdad and Basra and Iraq Today (website: www.iraq-today.com) is an English-language daily.
TV: Al-Iraqiya, Al Sharquiya, Kurdistan Satellite Channel and KurdSat.
Radio: Republic of Iraq Radio, Radio Nahrain, Voice of Iraq, Hot FM and Radio Dijla.

You see this is a bona-fide news source that is PRINTED in Iraq, but BASED in London.

This has to be true if they have any journalistic integrity....

    I'm gonna faint again!!

Before I do, here's my first WOOOOOTTTTT!!!!

Heres an article that I believe better reflects what my last article was saying...Look CLOSELY at that amount....REAL CLOSE...

Trillion and 480 billion dinars to support unemployed (24/11/06)
Government decided allocates trillion and 480 billion dinars to support unemployed and help them to face requirements of living, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mahmood Sheikh Radhi said.

He added that Finance Ministry confirmed this sum at its budget of 2007 and that would be an important motive to provide enough revenues for many of unemployed who seek for work to help their families. Worth mentioning that Ministry of Labor adopted project of social protection net to support poor families and other projects aims to decrease unemployment.
On the other hand politicians and researchers think that attracting unemployed to work would help at decreasing violence because terrorist groups tempt unemployed by money to occur its plans.

    Source: Al-Sabah

Do those numbers look slightly FAMILAR? Remember the last article said 1 Billion USD ...could it be

    1.48 Isn't this Susie's ORIGINAL AMOUNT?

    WOOOOOOTTTTTT

    Cheers!

Here's an article from 10-06 from the same reporter.

Number of needy Iraqis surges | Iraq Updates

“Simple mathematics make it impossible to meet the needs as the allocations would give each family 40,000 dinars (approx. $25) a month, regardless of its size,” he said.

    Then today's,

Each family will be given a loan of 10,000 dinars (approx. $6,600) to start the project, he said.

Doesn't appear to be a typo.

Sorry, here's the link for other article.

I am not sure what your point is. To me it shows he knows his math back in October 40,000 Dinar was worth around $25. Now in December he is saying that in 2007 10,000 will be worth $6,600. This makes me feel good about the article maybe I am missing something or I may just have misunderstood the sorry.

I think they are trying to get everything passed and implemented by the end of the Year to meet deadlines. I think as soon as they implement everything we will see this kind of rise.

Wealth of a Country is measured by production and demand. They have four very desirable products to sell Oil of course being the biggest but Water, Natural Gas and Farming are all items we need to continue are existence. So as soon as they implement the FIL and HCL you will see large production growth and a lot of demand for what they have to sell. Thus increasing production greatly will increase Country's wealth giving them a strong currency.

His math seems to be pretty accurate here. Doesn't look like the new article is a typo unless he suffered some sort of head injury (no offense intended SGS) between then and now..

    Smile Help me find it....

I am looking for a link to the e-mail address of either the reporter who wrote the article or the editor of the newspaper.

My translator doesn't show contact info and the English version of the site has no contact links.

I have a prepared e-mail asking for clarification/verifiation to send if someone can find me a link, I'll send it!

    Thanks.
