If you think about it a re-val is any change the CBI moves in value. The amount or whether it goes up or down is a part of it. So in reality we should see multiple "re-vals" this week. My projection is all of them will be positive news for us and the Iraqis. We are very close to getting into the 1300 levels!!! It should reach into that level THIS WEEK and MAYBE IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR!!!

Just thinking, this article is from today...

if 60,000 dinars was at rate of 1400 = 42.86usd
and 46,000 dinars at 1000 - 46.00usd

and with this statement from the article: to the highest value of one thousand per dollar within two days only

These translated articles are great news but are always hard to interpret. I had the impression they were talking about the IQD value in neighboring states and that is where this Video CD value comparison was being made. We've had articles in the past that show clearly IQD value in the neighboring states is much higher than in Iraq which is GREAT NEWS. If it were the other way around we'd be in deep doo-doo. with 14.4 trillion M2, a 25% reserve requirement, the dinar could easily be valued at 1 usd = 270 IQD

Something else really caught my attention. the M2 shown for September was 18.92 trillion dinar but for the week ending on October 5th the M2 is shown as 13.16 trillion. Somehow they managed to reduce the M2 by 5 trillion dinar and we missed it. By the week ending November 23rd the M2 had increased to 14.41 trillion. What concerns me is that we didn't see any thing that should of tipped us off to the fact that they removing 5 trillion dinar from circulation and during the auctions that we've seen over 2 trillion dinar pulled from circulation the M2 has increased by 1 trillion. I'm very confused about this decrease/increase in M2. Hopefully someone can help me out.

The increase or decrease can be affected by the levels of auctions some of which can be extremely high. Another move of M2 could be a large purchse of IQD by the Central Banks and sent out as foreign reserves to other World Banks. That IQD could have been transferred to the United States for example. Go to google and use keywords like "Central Banks" or World banks reserves, etc.

Guys don't fall for this old trick. These people have been pulling this stunt for years with fake "new" notes or doctored old notes. When the new lower denominations come out the CBI will let us know. And it won't happen until we reach around the 1 IQD = .02 USD value rate anyway.
