this is intresting taken from another thread looks like the only one who has got anything correct about the dinar rv and looks like it is going to be a slow rise rather than a quick rv

Looks like she was spot on. This was posted a couple of weeks after rumours began to spring up everywhere claiming access to sources and confirmation of a RV any day now! Obviously, amidst the thick of it, not many took too kindly to it.

We have to remember that up to now Iraq has followed and complied with everything outside inflation that the IMF have wanted, this includes the recommended end of year rate of 1345. So they were always going to meet this requirement if not better it.

The IMF have given the green light for a reval as have the World Bank and Paris Club. Once the IC and Hydrocarbon Law are signed sealed and delivered IMO we will see one big overnight reval. It's coming, I believe at the outside before the end of January, it's the only way they can have buying power, kickstart the economy and curb inflation, and even the MoF stated 'moving the exchange rate first month of 2007'. Now 'moving' to me suggests a big jump and not 10-15........

a 14 day only offer for 1 million dinar for £425 just had to buy a couple of more. anyone seen them cheaper?

Went to Chase Bank today to see if I could pick up some more dinars. It was just as easy as the last time only it cost me about two dollars more per million. Not bad since the last time I purchased was before all these dramatic raises from the CBI. What I like is that they don't require a cashiers check and they deliver without a delivery fee. They will call about 1:30PM to let me know the package has arrived. Works like clock work.

Don't give away the principal, use the gain on the money and it will last many many lifetimes.

I read an interesting bit of information not too long ago. Did you know that 83% of all lottery winners who take their winnings as a one time lump sum, end up right back where they were before they won the money within 5 to 7 years. Can you believe that!! It was a very comprehensive study of many hundreds of lottery winners. Most say they did not know how to manage the money and they didn't trust professional money managers because they thought they might rip them off. What I do know is that I don't have all the answers about money management and I'm going to find the best in the business to handle our funds. Who cares if they charge you a handsome fee, if they perform and make you alot of money. Thats what America is all about.

I've been rambling, but I just wanted to share my thoughts about what I'm going through. Maybe it's the same for some of you guys as well.

I have seen similar stories of how people who have come in to great wealth,
mis-manage it and end up broke, dead, or both. It has always been my prayer since I've been involved in this investment, to be a "good steward" over what God has given. I or the rest of us do not want to be a "statistic" or story that's told. A word of advice to all when our ship comes in, be careful of who you share the news with. I too want to help people but people will use you especially family. They will try to manipulate you with guilt into thinking you owe them somthing. I pray that God will give us all "WISDOM" in how to share the blessing that He is about to bestow upon us. After all, He blesses us that we may bless others.

The company intends to Iraq for bank guarantees to hold an extensive meeting with the heads of the boards of private banks that fall under the umbrella of the company and the beginning of 2007 in Amman. And hold business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises hopes on the role

The required to be played by the Iraqi company for the bank guarantees to provide soft loans and necessary for the activation and operation of projects, one of the foremost objectives of a company.

Banking expert member of the company's board Zuhair Al-Hafiz told (morning) : The meeting to be held in Amman early 2007 participants will outline what action the company and the mechanism to be adopted in order to activate its role in promoting the march of development and construction and reconstruction in Iraq.

Hafiz expert also revealed that the (private banks among the founding members of the company are Bank of Baghdad, the Middle East investment, Basra and the National Investment Bank of the Iraqi National Bank, Commercial Sumar, Alorka investment, Mosul for Development and Investment, the Bank of the North, Assyrian International Investment, the Gulf commercial and investment bank Iraqi banks took it upon themselves to the establishment of this company aimed at developing market domestic lending.

He also said that the objective of the company is to promote opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises access to formal credit sources of funding and banks.

A banking expert Zheralhafez that the company's activities will contribute to the strengthening of the role of the private sector in development and construction projects to support reconstruction and the development of its role in leading the economic process and the company's loans will be provided to small and medium-sized enterprises guarantor to put those important projects.

He explained that the company will contribute to the promotion of access of small and medium-sized enterprises to qualify for credit facilities from private banks, as well as support modern practices in the credit and sound banking practices in the process of granting loans to small and medium-sized private banks to assist in the development of new sectors.
