I'm just very cautious on timescales, why? Well we know these Iraqis a.) don't hurry about anything and b.) do nothing obvious and in the correct order. Nothing is straight forward to these people! Dates have come and gone with nothing.
Whilst yes it's very possible for them to revalue before the year is out my own feelings are early new year with the 2 biggy's we need. I feel that is why they're holding back on the FIL which we know has been passed, signed etc...
We'll see, not long to wait. Doesn't matter who's right or wrong, it's all personal feelings. Bottom line is we'll all be wealthy from it, and we will be!
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot.

Hello everyone. Today the CBI is confirming that they have changed their behavior and we have progressed from a "crawl" stage to a "walk" stage. Even though we are walking slowly, we are walking. Even if the gradualist win the dicussion in the end, 2007 will prove to be a very profitable year for us all. Nothing that has happened precludes a bold adjust in the exchnage rate at some time in the near term. So, no one should become disapointed. We all know about the FIL, the HCL, and the increase in oil production that is taking place as we speak. But as so many have commented, the iraqis have their own time schedule and what we want means very little. But, they are making progress, on many fronts. Today's auction just continues to send a signal to the iraqis and the world that their currency is gaining in value. So as we have said before, expect demand to rise, supply is limited, and the exchange rate will continue to rise, an excellent formula for us all. Thank You.

Thanks as ever for your great input. Would you be able to comment on the on the fact that dinars were actually placed back into circulation, which kind of contradicts the recent trend when they were only buying up dinars? Would this kind of move fit in with their strategy or have they reached the end of their target rate or circulation amount? Thanks in advance.
