I want to ask for every one's help here. I want to attempt to figure out the

amount of currency, in country that Iraq NEEDS to operate on a day to day

basis. Perhaps one of our better informed members already has an idea on this.

    If so please PM me.

What I would like are links to news articles, or just the information from them, that talks about the amount of income for

    1. the average Iraqi

    2. members of parliament

    3. the various government ministers (also, any information that may give us an

idea of the number of ministers)

I believe that if we can get an idea of the amount needed for daily life in Iraq,

we can get a rough idea of the currency in country, currency that may be in

the hands of foreign governments, and most importantly, the amount the CBI

needs to remove from circulation in order for us to see a large movement.

Please PM me if you have any links or info that may help.

Thanks and have a great day!!!

Cool I got some Circulated Ones Yesterday..

My order from Iraq dinars Dinar Trade yesterday, in 1/2 million of 5k's. Half the order was circulated. One that looked like it had been folded and kept in a pocket for a time. I called Ali and ask him about the circulated notes. His responce was that the smaller Denominations of 1k's 5k's and 10k's are Harder and Harder to get.

Up until July when I started buying from Chase, everything I purchased (from a dealer) was uncirculated. All of the orders I have received from Chase have been worn, although not in bad shape. All bills have been 25K. I've yet to see anything different from any supplier. Chase will give you the option of what size bills when you order, but it doesn't seem to matter.
And Kevmo, I was just having a go at the purchasing power not your post.

I think it's fact. Even if they start the new year at the current rate of 1380 it is the revalued rate(from 1470)...

If they are not listed at the CBI i doubt they are being put into circulation

True but with Iraq being mostly cash based vs the US. You would think that their currency would wear out faster.
