That Post from who ever it was. Makes Pretty Darn Good Sence. Makes me want to have the IQD I want by the 9th. Thanks for that Post.

If I wasn't into this like I am, then I would not be able to comprehend that Post. I still may be wrong ,but the Stradigy of the GOP over thier might be more clever than they are given. But they are very seceret of their doings to make us all, no matter what forum we are from, have to use our Brains.

Thanks Vipor, makes me think about this even more for what I diffentlly want to be holding. You are actually making me count my Pennies and cash presents from my Christmas, If I get any.

Baghdad security plan will be developed

President Jalal Talabani said today, Wednesday, that a plan will be introduced to the security of Baghdad, which will be implemented on a large scale in the beginning of next year. The Taliban, during a joint press conference held this afternoon with Polish Prime Minister Jaroslav Kazinski, "Terrorism continues in Iraq, and I regret to say that there are no operations carried out by the militias, who are Iraqis

A Chase update I thought I would share. I live in a suburb west of Oklahoma City. I rarely use the Chase office there as I work on the other side of town and it is more convenient to use the office where the company I work for banks and also where I opened my account and do all of my banking. Anyway, I was off yesterday and doing some holiday shopping right by the branch where I live. I've been in this location maybe twice. I've been considering ordering more Dinar, using the argument "why not just round your holdings up to the next highest round number?" (Sometimes it doesn't take much to justify another purchase). I told the teller I would like to buy some foreign currency, Iraq Dinar. She quickly stated that they do not sell it. I explained that I have purchased it on several locations across town and asked if it was a branch by branch thing. She said she didn't know, but that her branch manager had told all of the staff that they did not sell/were not to sell Iraq Dinar. I promptly left and went to the location I normally deal with. Most of the staff recognizes me when I come in. I went to the teller and ordered my 3 Mill. Making idle conversation, I asked if I was the only one that comes in to buy it there (this is a teller I have dealt with several times). She said yes, and they are not supposed to sell it. I asked why are they selling it to me? She stated because we know you, and the bank manager said it was OK. She said any Iraq Dinar purchase would have to be approved by the bank manager. I asked what if someone came in and wanted to purchase some? She said they wouldn't approve it-they would just tell them that they don't sell it or that it is no longer available. Kind of interesting, don't you think? I feel somewhat priveledged. I'll feel even more that way when they implement the FIL and the HCL and rate goes where it's expected.

Stability of the demand on the dollar continued for the second day in a row in the auction of the Iraqi Central Bank last Tuesday, recording 18 million and 180 thousand dollars, which is barely the size of the request of the day before, which exceeded a little less than18 million.

The demand distributed between eight million and 330 thousand dollars in cash and nine million and 850 thousand dollars in the form of remittances outside the country; the Bank has fully covered them at an exchange rate amounted to 1416 dinar, three points lower than the exchange rate last Monday, which amounted to 1419 dinar to the dollar.
None of the 11 banks participating in the auction, made any offers to sell the dollar to the Bank for the second consecutive day.

Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Abayachi, the economic, industrial expert and one of those dealing with the auction, said that the sale offers will be less and perhaps disappear with the decline in the rate of exchange which makes the speculators profit margin of the exchange rate difference between the commercial market and the auction, little or almost none or at a negative value with the continuing decline, which reduces the chances of selling the dollar to the Central Bank

That's exactly what I've been told at my branch in Phoenix...they said they won't exchange it anymore, but, they'll make the exception for me since I have been purchasing there. Because of their gesture, we opened an account there to be ready to CASH IN!
May the New Year bring hope & prosperity to all Iraq and for all of us!

God bless our soldiers and bring them home safe.

It is funny about these Chase Banks as we have heard this story alot lately. Remember I told you guys that alot of my Co-Workers got more Interested Last week, and I sent them too the Chase I use over by the Job. (20 in a 10 mile ratios)

What I didn't tell everyone, and I didn't think it mattered, is I told them to see the Bank Manager I know and tell them I sent you. Now this might be, just might be why they ALL had no problems.

I am going back to work tomorrow. If I get time I will go by and see for myself and talk to the BM I became freinds with since this, to ask if she can solve this for me. Good Night to You All & God Bless.

Actually according to the auction history the period was no longer than fours days in one year and three days in the other. It looks like another five auctions this year. I hope they end them now and get it over with.
It seems that the state insists, or preserve the value of the Iraqi dinar 148 against the dollar ...Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states [ MOF Sept 2006]
