She also went along! ) And sometimes I take crazy risks investing on the net because it's my only hope of a better future. But it's so funny, how differently different people look at me. When I suggest something (like PIPS, or the dinars) SOME of my family and friends jump on, considering the possible gain worth the risk.Others ponder for a while, and decide to join - or not - after considering it. And the last group, just think I am crazy and would never join anything "out of the box".So I have learned whom to tell - there's no point in telling people who I KNOW won't join but will only think I am crazy. I, and everybody else, know I am crazy anyway; I don't need them to tell me!
An exception is my brothers who belong to the last group: I tell them anyway because I don't want them to be able to say "Why didn't you tell us?". And this time, with the dinars, my oldest brother has actually bought a little!
But what I think is most fun, or funny, is that my parents belong to the first group! And they are old, 79 and 85, so I think THAT is admirable to be able to embrace stuff like this at their age.
But I can't wait to be able to say "I told you so!" after this thing pegs! And call me mean...but I WILL sing "nananananaaa" to them... (don't we have a teasing smiley?) and I WILL cock a snook at them! ( "cock a snook at"... In my dicctionary a Swedish expression is translated as that...but I have never heard that expression in English! Does it exist, or is my dicctionary too arcaic? Raditz, how would you translate "räcka lång näsa åt"?)
But I guess that in the end I won't... I am faaaar too nice! And besides, they could report me to the tax authorities !

Adster or Mike, the following statement sounds like they are proposing to do two seperate things, what are your thoughts on this.
"I proposed to the Central Bank of Iraq lifted three zeroes of the Iraqi dinar and to raise its value is equal to the dollar."

I think they mean that they will first lift three zeros from 0.00068 to 0.68
And then raise it to 1:1_________________________________________

Arco, by lifting 3 zeros it means moving the decimal point or lifting the zeros from the exchange rate, ie 0.00068 will be 0.68, IT DOES NOT MEAN A ZERO LOPPING. As for raising it's value, all it means is increasing it to equal the dollar at 1:1, excellent news for all of us....
