You recall that CP & I had found the same story about the Kurdish parliament postponing their vacation until the 15th to draft and implement economic and oil laws. The article was on 2 different news sites and was 3 or 4 paragraphs long -a little while later before we could retrieve them they had morphed into just a few sentences on VOI . that whole discussion was lost with the lost posts of this morning

Your right ITS GONE- Now it makes me wonder just who was hacking us?(I know thats going a little out there folks but this forum is worlwide and maybe someone doesn"t want us to figure it out) I remember someone mentioning a few weeks back that when China revaled their currency last time, they put a full page add in all the newspapers vehemently denying that they would do it, then did it the next morning. I got an email from warka about :45 ago and i found it odd that A they were there and B could not give me what i needed .. I asked for a blance of my account this is what i got

no point in telling you youre balance now, because its already been rv'd and they wouldnt want to disclose the rate now would they?

ok here is another thing this is very WEIRD

I go back to WTO site to see if the documents of iraq will come back up - NOPE PAGE STILL NOT THERE.

so I do a SEARCH - type in Iraq in the English part.

Ok two new documents come up that are titled: WTO: accession DATED
1 -4-2007 - OK now I click BOTH DOCUMENTS and they GO TO VIET NAM STUFF!!!!!!!!! nothing on Viet nam stuff has a date of 1-4-2007.

FOLKS IT IS GETTING TOTALLY WEIRD ON WTO SITE ABOUT IRAQ!!!

hope everybody has gotten up to speed on the FARM JIG because we are fix'n to be doing it!!!

well if i had asked for a rate that would be one thing but i asked for an blance in my account. A dinar is a dinar in iraq. I was wanting to see if my intrest had been added as i was going to put it into stock. what i found was odd was this statement

"we are currently finalizing our working procedures "

are they working on something New ?? and to be working at 1:00 am in the morning seems odd. Maybe need to be meeting a dead line ?????

They are definitely working late tonight. I just posted in the rumour section that I also received an email from Mr I at 01:15 am Baghdad time.

The IAMB has asked the Iraqi Government to inform us of the steps taken to implement the recommendations that arose from earlier audits, and the steps reported so far to us include the enactment of a financial management law to establish a comprehensive framework for the conduct of fiscal and budgetary policy; the establishment of a special directorate within each ministry, headed by an Inspector General reporting directly to the Minister; steps to strengthen controls at the Ministry of Oil and the spending ministries; the adoption of rules and regulations regarding disbursement of allocated funds to be followed by the relevant ministries; and the training of finance personnel.

We believe that it is extremely important for the Government of Iraq to act on the audit recommendations to strengthen financial controls and the administration of DFI resources, and we look forward to working with the Board of Supreme Audit and the Government of Iraq to continue strengthening the overall framework for public and financial management in Iraq. Our future immediate work will focus on completing the statement of work for the next audit, which will cover the period June to December of this year. We will focus on a briefing by the Iraqis on further measures they have taken since they last reported. And we will be also having a briefing with the Department of Defense on implementation of audit recommendations that concern contracts administered still by the United States agencies and to discuss further developments on the question of sole-source audits following the issuance of the report.
