WOW IT IS AT .30 NOW? IT WAS AT .03 JUST A MONTH AGO THERE. AND OVER 30.00 HERE IN THE US. I BETTER LOOK INTO THIS.

I think I will put Loops on ignore, don't need the frustration. Mike and Adam are doing a wonderful job with the information they are getting, and I would rather spend my time listening to what Mike is actually hearing from those up close and personal than to someone who needs to experience investing a little longer than 1.5 years. Some of us have been in the trenches a long time.
Exactlly ignore. And yes the researchers and followers of time. And Gratetude from me aswell.

    Hey neno,
Can you elaborate on this? I am a dedicated Pepsi drinker, and to see it at .30 is insane. Would love to get in on this action. PM me if you have to. Thanks

For an individual to state that a value such as 1 Dinar to the US Dollar would break that country, it tells me more reading and studying is required. A country wouldn't make such a blunder for the sake of speculators. This is part of a "Master plan" that has taken years to come about. Everyone should know by now that we didn't actually go to Iraq for the WMD's... It's all about OIL and MONEY... We (speculators) are just a very small piece ot the whole picture. I digress....

Yes, no worries. We welcome your view and opinions here. And I must say they are on Target and we here know they are good and backed by facts. Please make "Rolclub" your home and just visit the others. hehe

Yes choochie, This is why Mike (OSW) wants to create the Iraqi Investment Club. The ISX is not open yet to us yet. But less then a month ago Pepsi was at .03 a share in Iraq. And I just happen to see where someone posted it is at .30 now.

It just caught me I cause I and some freinds have been talking about investing when the doors are open. I had been telling them of the Iraqi Investment Club OSW wants to create and had I had seen that the share of Pepsi stock at that time was .03 and here in the states it is over 30.00

Well, I will have to wait until the ISX opens, I thought there was some way to already secure this. I LOVE Pepsi, so would definitely want in on some of this if it stays at that rate. I won a free cell phone from them in their Pepsi-smash promotion. Can't beat that.

The Ministry of Finance together with the Central Bank are studying a proposal to raise the value of the Iraqi dinar in order to return it to previous levels where one Iraqi dinar was valued at 3.33 US dollars

says nothing about looping, says nothing about reprinting.

what part of this do you not get?

why are you all making something so simple difficult?

This was pre 1980 before Iraq became involved in three destructive wars that at one time led to the currency's value dropping to a level of 3,000 Iraqi dinars to one US dollar. The proposal has the support and approval of the World Bank.

Seems to be an obvious leak as others have said. There is no way their government would leak the story without controlling all statements made within the article. "Value=1:3.33 (previous level)"; "This proposal has the support and approval of the World Bank (Mr. Wolfowitz)." Stop with all this zero lopping/issuing a new currency nonsense - Would serve no purpose to issue this statement without including something as important as "BTW - your current money will be worthless

Hey, I think that the statement is fairly clear that the reval would not be to 3+ at first. I believe that they hope to get the rate back in that range before they go to a common currency, maybe 2010. The question of 68 cents or one dollar per dinar is even less clear but it i think that is a language problem mostly. I am only guessing but think maybe the words "dinar equal dollar" might not mean exactly what we would think, maybe something closer to "same order of magnitude"? So i think it will be 68 cents if they can get agreement from this meeting in July. The next news that I want to see... is the schedule for that meeting.

    Sorry cigarman,
I think Raditz had posted the same report this morning, so if you go back a couple of pages you will see it. Nobody is trying to ignore you, we just have discussed it already.

    But it still sounds good!
