وزارة العمل تحدد يوم الاحد الحادي والعشرين من الشهر الحالي موعداً لصرف الرواتب التقاعدية للعمال المتقاعدين للاشهر ت 1 وت2 وك1 للعام 2006The Ministry of Labor determined on Sunday the 21st of this month, a date for the disbursement of pensions to retired workers for months T1 Witt 2, K1 1 of 2006


اعلنت وزارة العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية عن البدء بتوزيع الرواتب التقاعدية للعمال المتقاعدين .The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for the distribution of pensions to retired workers.
وذكر مصدر مسؤول في الوزارة ان دائرة العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية حددت يوم الاحد المصادف 21 / كانون الثاني 2007 موعدا لصرف الرواتب التقاعدية للعمال المتقاعدين المشمولين بالضمان الاجتماعي لشهري تشرين الثاني وكانون الاول لعام 2006 حسب التواريخ والمكاتب البريدية المثبتة في هوياتهم التقاعدية في بغداد والمحافظات ولمدة عشرة ايام اعتبارا من تاريخ بدء الصرف.An official source in the ministry, the Department of Labor and Social Affairs identified Aam on August 21 January 2007 date for the disbursement of pensions of retired workers who are covered by social security for the months of November and December of 2006 as the dates and post offices established in the pension identities in Baghdad and other governorates, and that for ten days from the date of commencement of the exchange.

BLOOM 01/09/07 21:41:31 ... invasion. because of that advanced planning and plus because of a lot of good work and dedicated people the financial system was established with a lot of stability right from the beginning and that's helped all the way through. the other surprising fact here is that the iraq economy is doing much better than you could think given the security problems there and that's because of the financial stability.
let me ask you, do you see any changes with regard to the iraqiconomy, the financial system that could make the situation on the ground make that country any more stable? is there something beyond a military slug that might make a difference here?

well, of course, economic development and job creation and prosperity is a tremendous weapon against terrorism and against people having sectarian violence. as the economy develops and it will require for efforts on the security side but there's plenty of people who want to start businesses. they are already doing business in iraq, if you look behind-the-scenes. so that's a promising thing. you got to focus on making the financial system stable and working with the new central bank governor. he's doing a terrific job over there to help him continue with the stability.

i want to ask you, if i could, about iran as well. we learned that the treasurey department taking aim at another iranian bank over the issue of terrorist financing, freezing assets here in the united states. do these kinds of actions make a difference? do they actually take a toll on the war on terror?

i think we've been finding they do make a difference. ...

That sentence JUMPED out at me too when I was reading the post earlier. Even though it's Shabibi's show any talk about the dollar vs the dinar in parliament gets my attention. A lot of these MP's lost major money when they had to trade in their old Saddam dinar for the new dinar and new rate. I have no doubt they'd like the old rate restored and with it much of their old wealth.

فقد اشار وزير التخطيط والتعاون الانمائي علي غالب بابان في تصريح صحفي الى ان نسبة العجز في الموازنة الجديدة بلغت (10) تريليونات دينار مؤكدا ان ذلك هو عجز نظري اكثر مما هو واقعي لان للدولة بعض الاحتياطات النقدية في صندوق تنمية العراق.He was Minister of Planning and Development Cooperation on Ghalib Baban in a press statement that the proportion of the deficit in the new budget amounted to (10) trillion dinars, stressing that the deficit is more theoretical than realistic because the state some cash reserves in the Development Fund for Iraq.

واوضح صالح الى ان (95) في المائة من ايرادات الموازنة العامة تعتمد على عائدات النفط، كونه موردا اساسيا للبلاد.. لافتا الى ان الظروف المقبلة ستكون مشجعة لرفع قيمة الدينار مقابل الدولار لكن لا يمكن تحديد سعر صرفه الا بعد الشروع الحقيقي في الموازنة العامة

واشنطن-9-1 : قال توني سنو المتحدث باسم البيت الابيض إن الرئيس الامريكي جورج بوش رشح رسميا اليوم السفير الامريكي لدي بغداد زلماي خليلزاد ممثلا دائما للولايات المتحدة في مجلس الامن الدولي, فيما رشح سفير امريكا الحالي لدى باكستان رايان كروكر سفيرا لبلاده لدى العراق.Washington-1-9 : Tony Snow said White House spokesman said that the American President George W. Bush formally nominated today, the American ambassador in Baghdad, Zalmay Khalilzad, permanent representative of the United States in the UN Security Council, nominated in the current American ambassador to Pakistan, Ryan Crocker as ambassador of his country to Iraq.

وأضاف سنو في ايجازه اليومي للصحفيين ان "بوش رشح السفير خليلزاد رئيسا للبعثة الدائمة للولايات المتحدة لدى الامم المتحدة , ورشح ايضا السفير كروكر سفيرا للبلاد لدى العراق."He added Snow outlined in the daily press, "Bush nominated Ambassador Khalilzad, President of the Permanent Mission of the United States to the United Nations, Ambassador Crocker also nominated as ambassador to the country to Iraq."

Hello everyone. Excellent auction today. The total amount since Nov. is over 3 trillion removed with around 100B removed this week. I think everyone knows by now what this means in terms of its effect on inflation and the base money supply. One Billion this week that doen't have to be paid for in case of an RV. Slow rise in the exchange rate but confirmation that the CBI intends and has intended to remove as much money as posible from the economy. Very good policy that works wonders for us eventually and exactly what they would do prior to an adjust in the price of the dinar. I understand the excitment about the Presidents speech and other rumors for the week. This weeks auctions would support an RV expecially if the research from our friends is close to being accurate that the CBI has been pulling 5 to 7 trillion dinars out of the economy since the first of '06. All is good for us. Pulling money out of the economy is not a process that can last forever. Too many market forces come in to play, market psychology, reduced circulation in the economy, hording money, and street demand ahead of offical exchange rates. (very unusal in the world today). There apears to still be a few places out there to buy dinar, these shouldn't last much longer. Dinar should become simply unavailable in the short term, since the CBI hasn't sold any appreciable amount in months. The result of this is/going to be higher prices for the dinar even if there is no bold adjust. The political side is harder to understand. Bush only has this one chance to get things moving before he is gone. I expect an all out effort. Raising the iraqis purshasing power seems so simply to us as a remedy for their economy I hope someone working for him has told him. Thank You.
