Hmmm, some of these articles are between 8 months and 14 months old on a couple of those links, another is selling Dinars themselves!
Another article (8 months old) says you won't be able to cash them in outside of Baghdad. Why are some banks already exchanging them?
Try staying up to date on progress out there juju.

dinar thread
I think since Adster is such an established and ardent Pipster, and had made it clear that he has our best interests at heart, that the thread should either remain where it is or have it's own spot in the forum. People are free to read or not read it as they desire. It's interesting that people who feel strongly that the dinar market is not real or viable make such a stink about it. Kind of rings a bell, doesn't it? Find something that you DO want to do, and do that.

Thank you ourhouse37 for those kind words.
Yes, I would like and hope that those that have invested do well out of this investment, (Dinars), it would give me a lot of pleasure for sure.
We are all on this forum trying to make a few pennies here and there from this or that investment. We choose to invest in the programmes that sound good to us, end of story.
See you guys in a few days. ;0)Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Well guys we all know, like any investment there's always a risk. But myself I've learned no risk means no reward. I choose the nice juicey reward, hehe.
Adam I check out that first site you showed me on the dinars, very cool. Can't wait to see what happens, with them.
Iraq has a bright future ahead of them. That's all I know for sure.Jon

Investing in Dinars
I looked at that site and there is A LOT of information! What I want to know is the bottom line. I understand the risk - as with any investment. But do I have to get others to invest to make money myself, or can I buy dinars, and as the market value increases, sell. I am not interested in trying to get others to put their money into anything. Can someone (Marek or ?) give me the skinney version of this investment?
Thank You -

Dear All:
If anyone wants their Dinars to arrive in 1 to 2 days (overnight FedX )
just PM me. I received mine as promised. All the note secur. features passed.
They are registered, even w/the B.Bus.Bureau. Only for USA shippings.
I am not getting any credit here. As I see that 'some dealers' are backed up
into WEEKS, now.
...just trying to help !

Look, the date is not a problem, when considering the pros and cons of investing in dinars. I'm not intend to discourage dinar investors. I've provided these links only for information. It's upto you to dicide whether buying millions of dinars is worth or not.
Could you tell the bank names outside of Iraq that are currently accepting dinars for exchange with other currencies?Last edited by juju; 10-11-2005 at 06:56 PM.

JuJu,
Great info in my opinion - I recommend anyone considering Dinars check it out and do your DD. Read some of the articles. We all know this investment is not an overnighter so everyone should take the time and do your DD.
The point that I found interesting is there is the possibility that when the Dinar is pegged and a value is set. The Iraqi Gov't will then have a foreign bond sale, print new currency at that date, with new ##'s and give the Iraqi citizens a small window of opportunity to exchange the dinars they have for newer currency. All outstanding Dinars may be declared worthless after that!!!
That is a risk that I see. Buying a foreign country's currency???
