We not pegged yet guys?! LOL.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Default what do you guys make of this?

what do you guys make of this?
it was emailed to me, through ompus/freedinar.

Dr. Qaddouri has arrived! His flight was delayed, but we picked him up on Friday morning. Although he has done business all over the Middle East, this is his first trip to the United States. You can see the amazement in his eye when we go anywhere.

Most of our days have been taken up with meetings, but he has gone to the mall (Arrowhead Mall) and has enjoyed a steak or two, which he said was the best he has ever had. He will be with us for a couple of weeks before he goes back home and we have scheduled meetings in Texas and California regarding our other ventures.

We have had discussions at length regarding the Dinar and the future of Iraq. He said that things are very bad in Iraq right now. He said that the Sunnis are demanding that several of the Ministers in Parliament step down. They are upset because these Ministers got to their position not based on their expertise, but on who they knew. One of these Ministers is the Minister of Finance. The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki is considering these demands in an attempt to stop the violence.

We also asked his opinion on the recent statements from the Minister of Finance, Bayan Al Zubaidi regarding “zero lopping” from the actual notes prior to brining the Dinar up to par with the dollar. He said that in his opinion these statements are “rubbish”. He said that this is one way that the government may be trying to stop the exportation of Dinars from their country prior to them revaluating.

Dr Qaddouri still maintains that he believes that the Dinar will appreciate to at least a dollar, and goes on to say that he thinks now that Iraq is governed by democracy it will become the riches country in the world. And with all of their oil, it is hard to disagree.

He will be live from our Arizona office this Thursday evening for our conference call. We are also trying to acquire more lines, but will record the call for our website for anyone who may miss it.

There will be no lopping, it's put out there to put speculators off and for those holding dinar to offload.

Course, going nowhere aside the occasional vacation or business trip and even then I'm watching from above, lol. Mike and I were in this from the start and I'm sure I can speak for him in saying we'll be in it till the end with all of you.

The 'Last time you'll see this' thread seems an eternity ago!

As for the numbers this is what I'm hearing, last 10 days of July timeframe. Reckon as much fun as this is, it's about time we all got off this train and moved on to the next venture.

Does anyone know if this statement is true and if so would this effect the peg?

You have NO idea. I think I will find out how it feels to levitate when I turn on my computer and the good news is there in print.
Regarding Iraq, I've thought all along that maybe if we started a new sort of "adventure tourism", (sort of a dangerous, twisted version of eco-tourism),
it wouldn't be long until the terrorists were outnumbered by people yearning for a "real" experience, and go find somewhere else to let blood. It just wouldn't be fun anymore.
