    Don't worry,

Inflation recently reported is directly impacted by the agreed to removal of oil subsidies in order for Arab nations to reduce debt, so this had to be done, and it was a short term problem which indicates to me that revalue is settled upon, and the only reason they have yet to announce it is because of increased killings in Baghdad. Just as with investment law being put in place for Kurds, it was already a done deal, but again, due to vilence in Baghdad, it was delayed announcement.

Lets look at the bright side of issues. They do not want to bring international investors to the table if it is likely to be blown up. It is all about security now as all the other pieces are in place, and many were for months. Now look at the bank robbery situation, they can't bring in all those smaller denomination notes without more security, right? (g) And what is happening in Baghdad at the moment? More troops, means more security, means protection to move in new notes to banks. Just using logics again, so it is my take on what is happening at the moment.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Yep, more troops are heading there. 52 soldiers from the 144th Michigan National Guard Military Police left last Tuesday from Owosso, which is 20 miles from me. They were going to Fort Dix in New Jersey, and then on to Iraq.

There's no doubt that security at this time is the reason they're holding back, but we've discussed this before and a r/v will help to curb it IMO. Pay them to stop bombing. Pay the normal people to give them a better way of life.

Yes, I've heard more troops are going to Baghdad to not only help the situation but to help the banks for when the r/v happens. I also believe the recent bank robberies are from those that know the dinar will be worth so much more soon.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Aaawwww, Sassy, better watch it or everyone's gonna think you're a little partial. (Kinda partial to you too. Not a better Aunt in the world!)

    Back to dinar news.

What about my question of someone buying up all of Kurdistan with the dinar value still so low?

    Anybody?
